This would've really bothered me a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't even phase me because it doesn't surprise me. Dan is going to ride his Iowa boy into the sunset. I don't think winning is a top priority to him at this point. I will be chilling in my back yard on my back patio Saturday afternoon with the grill going, a beer in one hand, and my TDK Trek360 speaker blasting music in the background....

Throwing more money at something definitely makes it easier. Our situation just proves that better decisions need to be made on who we're hiring. We had some big names apply for the job at the last go around. There will be a line banging at the front door to get a chance to coach UNT.

UNT gets ZERO respect in the DFW area. A coach who can recruit OUTSIDE of Texas is big thing, IMO. Also, a coach who has a track record of success with little resources. Turner Gill. Let's just look past his Kansas stint. too much pressure to win there compared to good ol' little North Texas.

I'd take Lock the Gate at this point. We saw a difference in play when he took over for Teflon Todd. Maybe he can do the same. RV wont do it though.....

I still say Smith was forcing his play. It was painfully obvious during that goal line series. Look at the situation he was called into. His window of opportunity was small and he tried to do too much. The strike to Harris was impressive........

I'm going out on a limb here and think NT will win this one. Mac will get to run his offense just like the way he wants against a team with "equal" talent. They'll ride JW to 200+ yards rushing and MiniMac will be 9/18 for 140yds and a touchdown with no picks. That's the exact stat line Mac likes for his offense. Defensively, the Mean Green will fly to the ball and hold up well in the trenches now that they won't be outmatched. UNT - 20 PSt. - 17
