Canales is right, he's uplifted the program twice while it was in the dump. It's hard to argue against that. I think he's ready to be a head coach somehwere.

3 years. There is talent on both sides of the ball right now. Can he develop that talent? 3 years would be long enough to find out.

No he's not. He's not qualified to be NT's head coach.

He can hire good assistants with Texas ties. If the man can recruit, he'll be able to recruit here.

From his POV, it has to look like a lateral move. It doesn't make much sense, especially if GSU can extend him & up his pay. He'll be on the P5 radar soon enough if he keeps up his winning ways. At that point, it's break the bank time.

Limited coaching experience. All of his experience and success in coaching has been on his daddy's coat tails. Never faced any adversity in his short stint at BU and has all the recruiting advantages at his fingertips .

Why would he want to leave? He's making a crap ton of money and has job security as long as Daddy is there.
