I completely understand where Mailbox is coming from. However, considering the previous staff's assessment of the QB position, you would have to throw all of that out the window. I personally think very little separates Morris/Shanbour/O'Hara and any of the 3 will struggle to lead this team to wins next year....

Oh, I was there and was against it from day 1. Dodge brought a brief circus with him in the beginning, but it was very apparent the knucklehead was in way too deep. The 1st game at OU was pathetic from the game plan to in-game coaching. Stoops & Co. laughed at Dodge and fell out of their chairs laughing at him at the post game presser. He had no idea how to handle a diverse group of players. Remember the NAACP fiasco? Yeah, that put us in the national spotlight didn't it? Dodge should be thanking NT for giving him millions of dollars for nothing. He stole money from NT in my book....

I agree with you. I'm just pointing out how down in the dumps the QB talent is here. Many people think a career 4th stringer is going to be the saving grace of the QB position here just because he's from Bama. Alabama QB's are bus drivers, not playmakers. It's going to be ugly next season. We'll probably see better play the 2nd half Of the year. I fully expect a couple of QB's to make starts next season. Hell, the shorthorns can't even find a decent QB.......

Shanbour damn near winning the starting job just shows the lack of talent at the QB position. Not a knock on the young man, just the cold hard truth. Means shouldn't even be playing at the FBS level and Chumley should be playing another position. Morris was a 4th stringer at Alabama and was pretty much handed the job here. Fine will need a minimum of 2 years to develop. Let's pray Littrell can pick up one more JuCo QB....

Dont expect an extension of Graham Harrell on the field folks. It's just reality. Morris and this offense will struggle. It won't be as ugly as it was under that idiot Teflon Todd but this team will struggle.
