Mac never capitalized on the short success he had here. I bet there was a plethora of QBs around 6' that would've jumped at a chance to play for NT after the HoD Bowl. His ridiculous height requirement and best bud's son in his hip pocket clouded his judgement. Fine so far has been a good get for SL. I hope it's the start of good QB's getting in line to play here.....

Roster spot still doesn't guarantee a ship. It's all a moot point anyway. He's here and I'm glad he decided to come to Denton. I'm more excited with him than I was with Rodge or Vizza. He certainly shows some special ability.

Pay his way or get paid to play football? Walk ons have ZERO guarantee they'll earn a ship. Yes, he's lucky NT gave him a full ride. I'm glad he's here, no doubt. But let's not act like NT turned his commitment from a P5 powerhouse.

Uh oh here we go again...... Where's the guy who came swinging in on Mason Fine's ball sack and called us all idiots? I like Fine and it looks like he might be the best QB on the roster, but it's apparent NT's QB woes aren't going away this year. Morris might be topped out and Fine will have to get acclimated on the fly. Future looks bright but, currently, it's still an issue....

Time to put the pedal to the medal and bury these guys.

Wow! I'm really torn on this. Was Morris that bad or is Fine just that good??? If there's a time to get your young player valuable playing experience, right here vs a FCS squad is the best opportunity to do it. This is a big message to the team. You're at the point of no return, IMO....

And didn't he quit because of he was tired of the nagging injuries due to the continuous pounding? I know I just opened the floodgates for diabetes jokes....
