Time certainly does fly. I've been following NT since 2002. That first New Orleans Bowl year sucked me into the black hole of subsequent nut kickings by NT athletics. I have a lot of respect for the guys who've been doing this with great passion for 20+ years. I've got to admit, the light doesn't burn as bright as it did back then. Hope McCasland & Littrell can change that...

Give him time, it's barely been a year. You can't honestly judge him at this point. The McCasland hire is going to be anchored to him for better or worse. At least wait until we see those results....

This would be great if it could ever be done. Could be used as a great recruiting tool for families outside of Texas. I've been a huge advocate of NT making recruiting outside the state of Texas a top priority. NT is an after thought to most people in this state. Hit up families in other states and pitch the ease to watch their child on almost any decent online streaming service.

I agree. Stick to UNT. North Texas just has too much apathy attached to it. I prefer North Texas like everyone else, but I think it's smart to slowly sweep that under the mat. You'll find only resistance to UNT on these boards. Hell, half of these guys hate the change to Mean Green.

It's a legitimate question, you wrinkly old ass hats. :D And I finally got off my lazy ass and checked out his recruiting profile. He's had a few offers, which is a good sign, IMO. I could care less if he had FBS offers pulled. The fact he was offered is good enough for me. I just don't want to see this program turn into walk on central like it did at the end of Mac's tenure...

Man you guys have questionable taste. Green Texas flag and now that interlocking NT. The interlocking NT is god awful ugly. I'd prefer chrome green helmets or the flying leek look from last year.

Why is everyone obsessed with the green Texas flag? Wouldn't the general public think it's just bad holdover from St.Patrick's Day? Son of Worm with North Texas should be the only University flag flown there.

Thats why alot of handicappers make a ton of money during the early part of Bowl Season. Vegas doesn't have a complete grip on the line for the early "odd" matchups like they do the NFL. I've done most of my damage to the bookmakers during this time frame. It's not a pass to make a crapload of money, they're pretty damn close on lines 95% of the time, but you will catch an odd line or two every year...

I've been saying for years the cable companies are going to get killed by online streaming if they don't start offering subscribers more options to pick specific channels. You may not get as many channels, but picking a la carte content makes subscribers feel like they're getting more for their money. Who the hell likes paying for 3 damn lifetime channels?????
