    I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think we’ll be adding to that NO Cinci victory. Losing Wilson hurt the offense and the poor secondary play puts NT behind the eightball....

    I’m going to try and ditch my family that’s flying in from Maui that weekend and head to New Orleans. How can anyone think NT is going to smoke Troy??? This is going to be a very close game.

    I was just going to say this. You want to watch a repeat of the first game vs FAU this season? I think it came down to the CUSA title game. NT wins and would be playing FSU in the Independance Bowl. The loss hurt more than we thought it would...

    9 wins is better than 5 wins and consecutive Bowl births is much better than no Bowl births. I’ll take it. The arrow is pointing up. SL has done exactly what he was hired to do. Now, there’s still a lot of work to be done, but one has to be confident that SL can do it.

    If you told me NT would play in the CUSA title game at the beginning of the year I’d say straight up you’re full of bull doodoo. Yeah, it would’ve been nice to be competitive but it is what it is.

    I agree with you. All of this is a possibility considering SL’s recruiting issues. We can’t do anything but let it play out. If SL can’t do it then send him packing. Wash, rinse, repeat, someone will get it right. Right now I don’t think anyone will say anything other than the arrow is pointing way up for NT Football...

    5 wins last year, 9 this year. The team has shown great improvement. How can you not have a positive outlook on the future? SL has done everything he was hired to do. Goal now should be to just win the Bowl game put in front of them. Yeah, we’d love to see a P5 but do you really want to see a repeat of FAU?
