Count me in. I love Thursday night college football games. Brings back old memories watching ESPN Thursday nights. My son and I will be there.

Honestly, a 7-5 record and a Bowl win would be a step up, IMO. I’d consider it a successful year.

Here are my 2 cents: He sucked. Worst coach in the history of NT and maybe even one of the worst ever in FBS/Div1 football. How can anyone spin positivity about this guy?

Maybe a private group can put together a group of investors to fund a real college football playoff. Everyone has equal opportunity to get in. If they said this in the media and stated they are the real national champs how would the public feel? Invite teams that were “slighted” by the committee like OSU. I bet the nation would get behind this and force the money grubbing assholes to change their stance.

You can’t make your living on the Mason Fine’s of the world. We’re lucky he’s been such a huge pickup but these situations are few and far between. This program will not be successful hoping for this type of luck on a consistent basis. SL has not done well recruiting. Disappointing NT is coming in at 6th....

This makes all the difference in high school football. One kid can take over a game, you need the other 10 on the field to be well coached. Don't underestimate the off-season. Seasons are won & lost in the weight room and access to top notch equipment plus coaching is a major advantage. There’s a reason why affluent areas are so competitive.

If he’s winning 9 games every year you keep him as long as he wants to stay, imo.
