This team has a chance to win 10 games in the regular season. Still an accomplishment and improvement from the previous seasons. Seth has done what he was hired to do and that’s to be better than the previous year. This program is obviously knocking on the door of greatness, imo.

Badass!!! How about a NT helmet that changes to every shade of green the administration has come up with the last 30 years? Is it even doable? Maybe throw in a daffy, to script, to SOW change too. Seriously, I think those LSU helmets are pretty darn sweet.

NT will need to win out, including the conference championship to possibly crack the top 25. It might even take a bowl win on top of that to hit it.

Exactly. Coaches know how hard it is to be successful at any level. You strike while the iron is hot and secure your family’s future. Seth will leave for more money and a chance to coach at a P5 program. Money talks and bullshit walks.

When the ball snaps, you take a step to your inside, interlocking your leg with the player inside you. Yes, you lean in and create a wall, you are not blocking an individual. There will always be defensive players outside the wingman. It’s all based on timing. The snapper has to get the ball back to the holder under a certain time limit. This is all timed in practice and is more precise than people think. The kick has to be off in X amount of time before the outer defensive player can get around the wing to the kick. Sometimes penetration does happen inside. Players didn’t properly set their wall inside when this happens.

Yep, questionable play calling, imo. But we’re all MMQBing at this point...

Thats how all field goal blocking is. You cover the gap to your inside to stop penetration. You can’t stop the guy on the outside. The D will always have a guy outside the wingman due to a holder and kicker, it’s a numbers game.

Muffed punt and the Fine injury lost the game. Defense gave up 3 pts in the 2nd half, they played well again.

NT obviously has the talent. Coaching got them tonight. They’ll fix that. LaTech will lose in conference play again. Book that.

Tough game, but a 1 loss season is still attainable. NT could potentially have a magical season still. Learn from this and be prepared for next game. It just goes to show you how tough it is to go undefeated. NT will bounce back.
