  1. I’m glad they did it. Hope all states follow suit. And yes, I’m being serious. I think it can even the playing field even more for the G5 and mid to lower P5. Look at places like DFW and think of the corporate impact possible among the 3 metroplex schools.
  2. Chad Morris did very little at SMU. Seth has done way more. Just wait until Bowl season. If NT gets another invite he’ll be mentioned as a hot up and comer....
  3. I love Mason and all he’s done for NT but I’m actually looking forward to Bean taking over and bringing another dynamic to the offense here: Height + Dual Threat speed.
  4. Hey, it’s just CUSA. NT will have a great chance at winning any of those games!
  5. I think he’s got one foot out the door. Started during Bowl Week last season. NT goes to another Bowl game this year and he’s going to a lower rung P5 program....
  6. Potential new OC and head coach scoping out his new home? Maybe Seth is promising him to be head coach in waiting? Imagine Mark Mangino in a lime Green sweater and pants on the sidelines.
  7. NT is back where it always is: Competing in the bottom rung conference of FBS football. In the end, I guess that’s where we at least want to be. Having the ability to compete for a conference title every year. As for a Texas pecking order, NT is right where it always is: Well below any P5, enviously staring at Houston, looking up at SMU’s butthole, and one click above Texas St, UTSA, & Rice. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  8. No one can get open, they have to run. Siggers is their best offensive playmaker.
  9. WRs aren’t beating anyone or getting open. Other team defenses are letting the really short routes go open because they know NT has no one athletic enough to make a play after the catch.
  10. Have you ever heard of Russia State? We’d much rather they win if they played SMU.
  11. I’m talking about the short kick that was returned for a TD. Why kick it to the 10? I know our kicker can kick it out of the end zone.
  12. Didn’t understand the short kick. Was it that windy on the field?
  13. Agree with you here. This team is just not as good as last years team across the board. Disappointing, considering all the “success” the last few years that this team couldn’t recruit enough to push itself over the hump.
  14. How long have you been watching NT football?
  15. I heard this multiple times under McCarney.
  16. Did you attend any of the three Bowl losses under Seth?
  17. When you start looking at the hot piece on the other side of the dance floor that’s giving you the eye and your long time GF is right next to you, you’re asking for trouble....
  18. I think so. He’s got more at his disposal than any NT coach has ever had and has no Bowl wins and no conference titles. You have to push progress and not complacency. McCarney peaked higher than Seth, he just dropped below Dickey’s worst when RV canned him. Seth has been consistently a hair above average. He’s got to be better than that, no excuses.
  19. Whoah, that’s bad.
  20. Funny how history repeats itself around here. Under Dickey this team laid huge eggs against OOC opponents and then proceeded to dominate the worst conference in Div1 college football. Now, NT moved conferences, dishes out 5x the salary of the Buick and continues to come up short against OOC opponents. Welp, time to run through the worst conference in the FBS, see you all in New Mexico again during Bowl Season!
  21. Hold on partner, CUSA is at the bottom below the SunBelt. I bet NT dominates CUSA West and goes to another Bowl. Seth will get out coached and embarrassed in a 3rd straight Bowl but his winning record will be enough to get him outta here. Just wait....
  22. Their line on both sides destroyed NT at the LOS.
  23. Recruit all transfers like SMU did. Start at WR.
  24. We hired Graham Harrell 2.0 as OC. Didn’t think Seth could do worse, but Jesus H. Christ....
