Anyone else catch PTI yesterday? I just watched it this morning(TiVo) and during Stick Face, Kornheiser started ripping the city of Detroit by calling it the Sun Belt of cities????? Wow, what a low blow for the conference.

So Woodrow passed up the chance to go to Big 12 schools in order to get a shot as a QB at NT, only to be thrown in the secondary? How would that look in the eyes of other potential JUCO recruits? He was a pretty good JUCO QB until he got hurt. I think Meager's days are numbered with the plethora of QB's fighting for 3 spots.

I'm hoping El Presidente(Woodrow Wilson) wins the QB spot

He's still not out of my doghouse, but I'll give Devil Dickey the credit he deserves. Reruiting has far surpassed my expectations. The addition of Trent Stanley and Woodrow Wilson are huge, IMO. All I can hope is that this sense of "urgency" goes into the spring and at DKR next fall.

How would this be stupid??? The additional BCS Bowl is geared for Mid Major schools. UNT has a legitimate chance to go to this Bowl every year. Why not have the attitude that NT's goal is to reach this Bowl?

Just more successful only because he won the NC. Young's talent around him was FAR superior to what Vick had at VT. Mike Vick was a better passer and runner. Vick single handedly put VT on the map. All, IMO, of course.

Reggie Bush fit's the mold of Marshall Faulk. An all purpose back. Julius Jones is only 200lbs. Tiki Barber has shown he can carry the load. Reggie Bush will be a helluva plater in the league. The man has acceleration like no other. Unreal. As for the Texas 'love' I just don't get the "you're from Texas be happy" explanation. I highly doubt Tech & aTm fans are saying the same thing. I was cheering for USC the entire time. 8 months of burnt orange boot licking will be hard to take.

I was in San Antonio this weekend and while at the river walk the day after the Bowl game I heard some Nebraska and Michigan fans bashing the SBC refs. One of them said the refs were not used to the speed and athletes thus the horrible officiating. They all seemed to agree.

Never thought of that, but I love the idea. Maybe knowing he'll be dealing out punishment instead of taking it would be enough to keep DM from getting injured.

I didn't think the quote was that negative. Just truthful. NT is just not very good, this year. I have to agree with an earlier post. Think of the repercussions if DD doesn't give WW every chance to succeed at QB. This kid had a chance to go to some big time programs as a DB. Seems like CCC is legitimate pipeline school for us and screwing over a talent like WW would not help NT in the future.
