What????? With NT's pathetic OOC showing and horrible offensive stats, "wiseguys" would kill the books loading up on MUTS. I'm not saying NT would not cover, but from the outside looking in, the obvious play is on MUTS +7.5. In all fairness, the 3 pt line is a pretty "normal" line when the books expect the home team to win in an evenly matched game.

Don't look at it as one team being far superior than the other. Vegas sets the line where it can get an even number of plays on both sides. Personally, I think the line is pretty close as I was expecting NT to be favored by 3.

I wont be satisfied unless this team can beat LaTech. I know this game is a little further down the road, but there should be NO reason this team can't gel and get into rythm during Belt play before this game. 8Ball Dickey may think beating SMU was his Super Bowl, he better look at the LaTech game the same way. No excuses for a poor showing from NT in this game.

NT - 24 MTSU - 21 Very close game. Jmo breaks out with over 150yds rushing. El Presidente puts in another strong campaign. D wins it in the end, stopping a MTSU drive to end the game.

Did you read the boards throughout that NO Bowl season? Or were you just too happy with the SBC game wins throughout that year. Many, many, members on this board were ripping DD & Co. a new a$$hole throughout the year. It came down like a sledghammer early on after that pitiful FAU loss. Members supported the team but still squawked at 8Ball Dickey throughout that season.

Don't hold your breath. It will be a several years.

And this is the reason for the dissension regarding DD. North Texas has never been anything other than a mediocre offensive team during 8Ball's tenure. With 4 Bowl games, 4 conference championships, & 1 New Orleans Bowl victory, you would think better offensive recruits would come here. Here's the catch, I THINK BETTER OFFENSIVE RECRUITS ARE HERE PRESENTLY. Are they good enough to beat the middle of pack mid major's? I certainly think the group is talented enough.
