And why could this not have been seen during practice? It was obvious from the beginning, the guy was way in over his head. He's got heart, just not the same physical abilities possessed by a division 1 cornerback.

Do you speak with knowledge from within the locker room? What type of input did the players try to give the coaching staff?

What happened to CamMo at RB?

I don't think it has anything to do with a limited number of good athletes, but more to do with the limited roster spots available in Division 1 basketball as a whole. Also, it's not like football where physical strength has to be developed on top of talent over a period of years. Pure talent can come in from high school and make an immediate impact.

I doubt Riley goes anywhere and would go as far as saying I doubt he takes a redshirt. Riley will be the #2 Qb next year. Vizza will be the #1 man next year and will be under the microscope in '08. The gloves come off & Riley get's a shot in '09. Great times upcoming for the QB position!!! As for Meager & Phillips, I could see either transfer to 1AA for an immediate shot at playing. Can you blame them? I'm hoping this offense can recruit a RB with the explosiveness & pass catching ability similar to Tech backs Ricky Wiliams & Tauren Henderson. NT really lacked a threat out of the backfield this year. Lot's of Dickey players playing out of position(on defense) or without a position may transfer.

UTA is better than we expected and OSU is worse than we thought. UNT lost to a quality team on the road. Our guys will bounce back without a doubt.

And you're related to Mendoza in what way? Have you forgotten the offense from the previous 2 seasons couldn't sniff 35 points??? Those offenses were as bad as this year's defense. Figuratively speaking, of course. Nothing can be worse than a record setting defense.

After reading another thread regarding backup LB's & player "repositioning", I'm curious as to what has really changed, up to this point, from last years defense (other than scheme). What starters or significant contributers have been "repositioned" or buried in the depth chart by this coaching staff? This is all I've got: Germaine Dawson LB - Now a backup DB Brandon Monroe LB - Backup. Korey Washington CB? - WR now? I'm certain I'm missing a lot more here.

Even if it involves, say, a certain DC of a team in Denton?
