  1. OSU had the best player in college football that year in Maurice Clarett. He was a key factor in that win.
  2. LSU wins handily, IMO. LSU - 31 OSU - 10
  3. Couldn't help but think the same thing. It's a legitimate question. However, the guy does have experience. I definitely can live with that.
  4. I completely understand that. However reread this paragraph: Now please tell me that didn't warrant some type of response. "DoDge is a f0oTball gOd and he knowS more than anY cOach in DIvision 1 fo0tball!1111". Yet he hired the DC and defended the guy to the very end??? I can't help but wonder how much pressure came from above Dodge's head to do this? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that he's decided to look for another DC. He's proven his offense can be potent. he needs the defense to back it up.
  5. You give him all the credit when he fires the DC but what about what lead him to hiring him in the first place?
  6. I'm very pleased with Dodge's decision.
  7. So NT's QB runs like WVU??? So NT having more rushes than TT proves what??? Who doesn't have more rushes than TT?
  8. WVU & UNT's "spread" offense have very little similarities. The Mountaineers have always been known for a good ground game. Before Pat White & Steve Slaton showed up, Quincy Wilson tore the Big East up. If you're looking at some of the reasons why their offense is so explosive, look no further than their QB. Pat White is one of the most explosive QB's in college football. Granted, he'll never be a QB on Sundays, he'll sure as hell be returning punts/kicks and catching passes in the NFL. Steve Slaton is an NFL caliber runningback and Noel Devine will probably develop into one sooner than later. I would be ECSTATIC if Dodge turns NT into a WVU clone. I'm a firm believer in a strong running game. Judging by what I've seen so far, we're more along the lines of what Leach & Texas Tech do. Our QB's are meant to sling the ball while our RB's are blockers & 4th & 5th options (Leach does use the RB alot more than Dodge).
  9. This is how I would've graded.
  10. Maybe someone with some sense on defense will move Germaine Dawson back to LB. I'd take a proven DIv 1 player over potential 10 times out of 10.
  11. I just think the timing is the issue. He had 3 games left and couldn't wait it out?? I mean, if the Razorbacks wanted him that bad he could've said let's wait until the end of the season and do this thing the right way. It's the least he could've done for the Atlanta Falcons Players & Coaches. These guys have families, too. Hell, it's the least he could've done for Arthur Blank. Really sorry way of leaving an entire organization hanging.
  12. I think that had everything to do with Mike Southal. Once he left, ULL has been struggling.
  13. How the hell did he get 10ft off the ground???
  14. Funny how that works. It's part of the "honeymoon" for any new coach. If next season becomes a continuation of '07, the DD haters will find new meat, quickly.
  15. Please. please, please, please, don't become a lingering knee injury. I hope he isn't being rushed back.
  16. Well, I don't ever remember Ben being a big time scorer. I've always seen him as good passer & defender. He could just be in a slump, it happens. Plenty of season left to work through it.
  17. Well, Dallas has two 1st round picks (Cleveland's) next year. Depending on where the Browns finish, Dallas could be a player for Mac Daddy. I think Jerruh really wants his fellow Razorback in Dallas. Julius will be gone next year & MB3 is most effective when coming off the bench.
  18. Absolutely agree. McFadden all the way. I would go Brennan a distant 2nd & Tebow a very close 3rd.
  19. As Wooden goes, the team goes. His early foul trouble forced him to the bench and that really hurt. Keith's going to be tough to replace next year.
  20. I thought Meager was a Jr this season?
  21. NT - 77 Shorthorns - 69 And yes, I had some green koolaid for dinner. Really, it helped wash down some deep dish pizza..
  22. Will it be on DishNetwork in DFW?
  23. Hmm, the defensive staff has these guys buried on the depth chart. Dawson was one hell of player at OLB, but is now a backup DB. The wit & wisdom just flows with confidence on the defensive staff....
  24. So, I'm guessing NT will be crowned Toilet Bowl champs this year?
  25. Well, you sir are the prognosticator of prognosticators.
