I'm afraid NT will lose the momentum of getting a new stadium if TD stays and goes 0-12 again next year. Imagine the hype RV can bring to NT by bringing a new coach to ride the wave of the new stadium vote. Will there be enough of anything if another season liek thsi one happens again?

Well, Dodge has only won 2 games in 2 seasons. Teh reality is NT is 0-7, not 5-2. I'll leave you with a nice saying a very wise friend in high school used to always turn to in a time of need: "If IF's and BUT's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas."

Huh?????? Winning and coaching are one in the same. How you differentiate between the two is beyond me.

Next year is going to be a really exciting year. One year closer to a real stadium, and a winning/losing record scenario that would work in our favor either way. If Dodge brings another year of sorriness - he's gone(hopefuly)!! Iif he wins 4 or 5 games, we can look forward to a possible resurrection of the program! Woo Hoo! 2009 will be a pivotal year.

I'm just upset at the fact that NT was willing to take a risk at such a critical point in the program's history. Dodge really is learning on the job, and it shows, IMO. is NT really in the position to ride a coach who needs to learn & is learning so much at this level??

Dig, ding , ding, we have a winner. I like George and occasionally listen to his show. However, he's the biggest NT homer in DFW. He was against the DD firing. You guys need to look at where he's coming from and his position with NT football. The guy is the radio personality of NT and gets up close & personal with the coaching staff. This fact alone compromises his opinions, IMO. Knowing Dodge & Dickey on the personal level is totally different from what general NT fans can say. I'm absolutely sure DD & Todd Dodge are two of the greatest guys to know - Could they/can they take NT football to where it needs to be? Dickey could not, and Dodge is heading down the same path.

I would go with early playing time as #1. The possibility of an 0-12 team shows no one has entrenched themselves as an impact player. Then the greatness of the current athletic complex as #2, with a chance to play in a brand spanking new stadium as #3.

Lack of scoring in the red zone can be attributed to a poorly designed ground game. NT's ground game consists of draws and an occasional zone read with a non-dual threat QB.

I'm in for a donation. I'm hoping the athletic department does something like BUY A BRICK for teh new stadium.
