Hmmm, good point. Unless more money is involved from these other Bowls, the NO Bowl should get preferential treatment, IMO.

Any team with a decent offensive line and running back will kill you up the gut with quick hitting leads, dives, & belly plays. OSU can run it because they have DB's as big & strong as LBers, with Lbers as big & strong as DLineman with DB speed. Same goes for the Vikings. These players can hold their own at the point of attack. I think the 4-3 is the best & safest base defense for almost any team...

The NO Bowl deal will get done. They had a record breaking crowd at last year's game. Most of the SBC schools are geographically friendly with New Orleans, why throw mud in their eyes when they've been so good to the Belt? The SBC should quit wasting time & put their resources towards getting more Bowl tie ins......

Well, I'm hoping NT will be smart and ride Cam early & often. Solid running game will do wonders for the young QB. If NT gets behind big early (and we all know that's a good possibility), Riley will be in for a trying season. It's going to be interesting to see how he reacts to a tough season, while being under the microscope. Hopefully, he handles it better than the rest of his SLC buddies... He'll be a helluva QB & good leader if he can stay the course the next 4yrs.

Glad to see TJ doing well and hope he gets his shot at getting an invite to an NFL team. Just wish he could've made it here. I forgot about Big Z & Dylan and how dominating they were. Lineberry was a monster.

Only if we played a power running team or pro style offense. Since hardly anyone runs either style a speedy end might be a good change.

I can tell you off the bat Riley is an 85ovr & Cam is an 81. They have Moseley(82ovr) rated higher than him & Dunbar???????? Off teh top of my head, I think Atkinson is a 73ovr.

Anyone who's got the updated/patched roster, can you post the player numbers listed at each position? I downloaded the update myself, but I'm not at home to look at them.

I'm sad to say I think he's back for a fourth regardless of this team's performance.

LOL! I noticed that. My first reaction was why in the hell does it say Northern Texas???? The other thing I've noticed is EA doesn't use the correct green. The green they use is more of bluish green. The new alternate uni I made uses the correct Kelly Green.

If any of you guys are going to get NCAA 2010 for the PS3, I've already updated NT's roster, ratings, etc. using the 2 deep Post-Spring roster. No to the WAC. Take Boise & Fresno off the list and you have a conference that's probably equal to the Belt as far as "power" rankings go. With the current state of the economy and tightening of budgest across universities, I'm wondering if that can be enough to push for a super regional friendly "mid major" conference? Something along the lines of 12 teams mainly TX, LA, AK, & OK schools? : NT, UH, Rice, UTEP, SMU, Tulsa, LaTech, ULM, stAte, ULaLa, etc.

I'll take this 10 times out of 10 over the "Southlake" crap we're using now. North Texas being the Mean Green isn't quite so mean or green when your uniforms are 90% white. Hell, throw in some green pants or something with the current look.

Is he a different QB than Vizza? Of course he is. He can bring a different style of playcalling to the O with his athletic ability. However, TFLF is right, most spread O's utilize an athletic QB. It will be nice to see what he can do. However, I'm not expecting him to be an outright game changer. We're not talking Vince Young or Matt Jones here, folks. This offense will still hinge on his arm & Cam's legs, IMO.

Definitely a bright spot in the sea of darkness.
