  1. Can you tell us what GTBG voted?
  2. Don't forget to add Playmaker & Quoner to that list. As for the original topic, I say make a run at Kragthorpe if he's canned.
  3. So you're predicting a new head coach? Tell us what you know, Mr.Mosely?
  4. I'm still curious to see the number of new registered users voted in this poll. The poll was heavily lopsided for "Fire Him", then after a few days it has all of a sudden considerably swung to "Keep Him".
  5. Dammit, I think you're right. Playmaker has jinxed us!!!!
  6. The $64,000 question here is will Micah return when Dodge is fired??
  7. My apologies for that post. I saw you call another poster stupid and kind of "snapped".
  8. I think a new coach sends the right message & will excite our fanbase. Another 2-10 season would be devastating.
  9. Incorrect use of the word "your". Yep, you're an obvious genius.
  10. It's the name I bestowed upon him after his ridiculous first season. If you remember back then this site a few ra ra SLC guys with many versions of Kram & Eulessismores. No matter how many things were pointed out negatively towards Dodge he was given a free pass. Basically, nothing could stick to this guy. Like the original Teflon Don, I call him Teflon Todd.
  11. Why in the world would anyone expect any member of this staff to stay if Teflon Todd were to get the boot????????????
  12. stAte - 27 NT - 17
  13. So when did UNT start paying Vito's salary???
  14. This poll is a lot closer than I expected. I wonder how many new users registered to vote?
  15. Teams have a lot of film on Dodge & Co now. Early on, Ball St. was just bad & Ohio's only game film was from BSU the week before in which Riley ran the zone read 75% of the game. The monsoon was in our favor as well, IMO. Ohio would win easily if the game were played again at this point. That's why I don't buy the improvement crap. Coaching is killing the program.
  16. Word, brotha. Couldn't have said it any better, myself.
  17. Can him. Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out!!
  18. Never said they were all equally qualified, just there is a huge group that is considerably more qualified. In any industry, you have to pay if you're looking for gauranteed results. The best will command the highest salaries.
  19. Let's hold off on the JB thing. Kragthorpe may be available!!!!!!!!
  20. Entry level? Hardly. Yes we are at the bottom of the pay scale, but we are an FBS school. When the entire Tech Sector has shipped jobs over seas and others are shutting down due to poor business cycles, the market becomes saturated with high quality potential employees. You can be shrewd in your salary offerings. Hmm, 120 FBS schools equals 120 head coaching jobs available. 1000+ candidates ready to step right in. Sound familiar, doesn't it?
  21. I thought those were sold online?
  22. Not trying to argue, I just see it differently. He may very well develop into a good FBS coach. Unfortunately. he has learned on the job at NT's expense. That expense goes way beyond the subject of money, IMO.
  23. Dodge gambled with the all out punt block. I think percentages are probably better for a blocked punt than a return for touchdown. Still, you can run punt block and still have a single return man to field teh kick. May not get much with the blocking scheme waived for the rush.
  24. Not a silly half baked analogy,IMO. RV is the CEO, not Dodge. RV has a UNT Football machine that's in bad shape: inefficient, minimal uptime, poor producer. Instead of hiring from a saturated market of quality Service Engineers with experience on that system, he hires a guy straight out of "school". This new guy has to learn on the job, pull out manuals & schematics, and contact vendors for minor issues; issues an experienced Engineer could solve fairly quickly. Now, the company loses confidence in this machine because of it's poor performance and even considers reducing funding for repairs/upgrades/etc. Sound familiar??? It does to me, I see it all the time. You CANNOT substitute anything for experience. Period.
  25. What's funny is my cousin texted me if I thought Riley would bring NT back for the win. I said he'll probably throw a pick. Sure as hell couldn't believe he did right when I sent the reply text.
