RV should be fired if Dodge fails next year.

He should fired along with his buddy Dodge, if the football team fails to win 6 games next year. Ridiculous.

We're obviously beyond any sense of normality here (and I would expect the same on any other fan site). The whole Dodge see-saw job thing is just amplifying it all for the moment.

Coaching in the NFL is a totally different animal. Why do you think places like Dallas & Oakland have coaches lined up to work? You're willing to put up with the craziest of the micro managing bosses just to get a shot & paycheck at the elite level. It's the very same reason Dodge is willing to walk around without his balls cut off in order to remain Head Coach at a FBS school.

Good Point. The rumor mill has been floating that RV had looked into replacements. I wonder if someone turned us down? That very well may be teh reason he was waiting until Wednesday to spill the beans. if his target coach said 'YES', Dodge was gone, if it was 'NO' Dodge would be forced to make some changes.

How many of these coaches came straight out of high school? If the answer is none, please feel free to reference the all time coaches jumping from high school-to-D1 football record book. It's been discussed at GMG many a time, and it doesn't look good. Dodge has NOT set himself apart from the expected outcome proven by history.

Losing teams always seem to lose this way. Finding a way to lose is a staple of a losing team.

One thing I am thinking, the longer it takes for RV to come out with news, the more I'm thinking the news wont bode well for Dodge.
