I'm going to have to agree with GrandGreen regarding the QB situation. This position is far from being the deepest. Too much inexperience now that Riley is gone. We're basically back to square one with a relatively unknown starting at QB. Now I will say I somewhat agree with you in that the potential is definitely there. This being such a pivotal season for Teflon Todd really makes it a big deal, IMO.

I don't think the issue here will be a "dropoff" in QB play. The amount of improvement is where the issue lies. With Riley returning at QB, who knows what a full year of experience would've done and what could've happened this year? We'll never know.

The guy showed flashes of what could be in the future. At least, those were my thoughts on Riley. The potential is there, the body isn't. Based on what he did just last season, I don't think we'll see a huge dropoff at the QB play this year. If he were healthy, we may have seen a huge improvement, who knows? At any rate, I'm hoping someone steps up.

Wow, this really hurts. I've always felt Riley was the best QB on this team and gave this program the best chance to win considering how taylored the offense was to his style. We are heading into another season with a VERY big unknown at QB. Looks like the nail in the coffin for Teflon Todd. At least we'll have something to look forward to in 2011!!!!!!!!!!

He's a scorer first, no doubt, but this offense requires that at the point. I think this team needs a pure shooter somewhere. The slashers have proven they can get to the basket and cause the defense to collapse.

how can you blame JJ? KSU goes goes 9 deep with killer size & speed at all spots. We're really only running 6 deep.

KSU able to take Josh White out of the game is huge.

My observations if anyone cares KSU could have been a 1 seed, easy. Josh White has pretty much been neutralized by the State's size & quickness. It's killing our offense. NT's offense in desperate need of good spot up shooter.

How the hell did you get so far off into the race thing?? Totally irrelevant, IMO. I think this has everything to do with him being a Big Conference Douche, than anything else. Since there are no Power Conference schools in DFW, he's latched on to SMU & TCU. I know this is cliche, but the SunBelt really get's little respect around here. I'm pretty sure JJT is an alum from one of the Big12 schools.......
