IU picked up some momentum after the Thompson pick. He looked bad with a couple of TDs being great plays by Bynes & Outlaw. Anyway, that's another discussion... The D looked like it was playing Cover 2 man quite a bit at the end and got toasted for it. Oh well, a wins a win!!!

He's a good player but not good enough. Romo has too many mistakes and mental breakdowns in crunch time. Injuries are now coming with age and a really bad/young OL. He'll never surpass Danny White in the Cowboys QB lore. I say trade him now while his stock is still relatively high. His career peaked a couple of years ago. Coach Ginger appears to be trying to rebuild this thing with youth anyway...

The OL played well yesterday. The offense just couldn't keep up when the track meet broke out. The improvements were definitely evident.

I think Thompson's play was decent. He still seems to hold the ball a little too long. Overall, a decent game. He will get better with experience. UH started teeing off when McNulte came in. He was an absolute 0 pass threat. I'm sure that will change with time as well.... This offense is definitely tailored for a dual threat QB.

They need to get him more touches. Reverses, screens, whatever it takes. If Dunbar isn't getting the rock, it needs to be in Brelan's hands.

UH OL did a good job picking up blitzes in the 2nd half. It left our secondary vulnerable at times. Too many 3rd and long conversions as well. Defense is going to have a rough year...

I was in section 106 1st row, me and my 4 year old yelled alot. It seemed like the upoer decks were very loud on 3rd down from where I was sitting...

I'm going to refrain from predicting the score. I'll be enjoying the new stadium and take in as much new food as possible. I'll probably head on over to the fan shop and purchase some gear....might do that during the game. UH - Beats NT NT - loses to UH

I liked it. It was definitely unique. I would love to see North Texas with a Maryland style helmet. On one side of the helmet use the current configuration of white North Texas on Green background, then the other half of the helmet white paint with a big green SOW on it. Slap a black face mask, black chinstrap, and voila!!!!

You're going to always find an occasion where the perfect storm occurs and a team plays way above there heads, getting an almost impossible win. I would agree with you coaching is huge in these types of wins. However, this is definitely not the norm. Yes, it's a bad taste to see our team get blasted by a conference rival, but the same thing happened last year to the same team. This team has gone from bad 4 years ago to really bad the last 3. 6-8 consecutive years of bad football is going to affect the program. There's just no way to suger coat it. This is just one game, there are 11 more to get 5 wins...

I think we'll have a really good outlook after next weeks game. Let's just hope UH doesn't come in here and have 4 straight FIU 1st qtrs on our guys. The good news, a bad Ball St. team beat Indiana. If there's ever a game to look forward to right now, that is probably the one ( assuming Ball St. is as bad as they were last year)...
