So what type of messages are you expecting during a losing season? Sunshines and puppy dogs will be blown up your a$$ when this team wins. It's the nature of the beast we call fan message boards. The team consistently loses, you'll see lots of negative posts and most of the fanbase on suicide watch. The team consistently wins, and you'll see kumbayah and bubblegum posts all day long. The day I don't see anger from fans when NT continues to lose is the day I quit coming to these boards.

He's a sophomore, correct? He redshirts his Jr year and he's still got 2 years left to play after that. He's got Plenty of FBS eligibility left...

Someone mentioned in another thread Ozzy has 3 years left. He transfers year end, redshirts, and still has 2 years left. He's got options. Now, question is will any FBS school give up a ship for a backup "3rd" string QB from one of the worst offenses in the country?

Slow down partner. I was only making the comparison to Wallace in college because of them being undersized mobile QB's. I'm just trying to grasp some insight as to why Coach Mac won't play Ozzy....

Maybe Coach Mac sees in McNulty what he saw in Seneca Wallace? I saw Wallace play as a Sr at ISU and he was a helluva QB. He was an undersized, mobile QB with an average arm, but an excellent field general. Anyone seen Wallace play as a Fresh & Soph? Did he even start as an underclassman? I agree with GP1. Barring injury to DT & Lil' Mac, Ozzy's days are numbered here. He won't ever see the field as long as Lil' Mac is available to play.

I predicted 5-7 at the beginning of the year and sticking with that. Definitely a successful year, IMO. stAte will be a tough game for a NT team that's really bad on the road.

If you really want to or have the need to blame someone for the current state of NT football, here's where you need to start: #1 - Todd Dodge - The worst coaching hire in the history of North Texas athletics and possibly Division I Football #2 - RV - As much as he's done for NT, he has to take some blame for bringing in Teflon Todd and allowing him to go an extra, agonizing year. As much as some of you don't like to hear it or are tired of hearing it, it's really as simple as that. Thank god RV has done a whole helluva alot to make up for it in other areas. Teflon Todd is struggling at Pitt, no surprise.....
