    That would be real disappointing if BB gave up and left. I'm not counting him out, yet. I guess we'll see in a few weeks. As another poster stated, his shirt is used up and his only option to play immediately would be to go the FCS route.

    If they're even, i'd go with the Vet. The guy has put in his time with the program and probably deserves a little loyalty. He would be on a really short leash and see his time diminish based on the record and the closer we get to the end of the season.

    Positive spin, it's a very good sign Mac & Canales were able to recruit a guy of this caliber into the program. A true freshman running neck & neck with seasoned vets for the starting job speaks volumes at the FBS level...

    I personally hate the interlocking NT. Looks very amateurish and a poor attempt at a UT, TT, aTm, letter orgy. I hate it about as much as you hate 3XL's custom unis.

    It was my first exposure to UNT. I think one of my first posts ever on GMG talked about how I liked the eagle better than the script. I think I heard several hundred heads explode and damn near got castrated by the long timers!

    I don't get why everyone hates the neon worm?? The outline of the worm matches the jersey & pant stripe. The neon color gives it a nice "pop". How old is everyone here, 55+????

    And for the fashion police, if you look close enough, the color of the jersey/pant stripe matches the outline of the flying worm. It works, IMO.

    I'd think they'd wear these a few times this year, considering the cash they had to drop to get them designed/produced. At least I hope they do!

    We definitely want this guy to redshirt. That means BB worked out. However, if DW is the best of the bunch he has to start.

    I think Mac & Canales are giving the other 3 QB's every opportunity to take the job from Thompson. This will come down to the final week and I'm hoping this doesnt turn into a rotation. Not what I'm wanting, but Mac hinted at this during the offseason.

    BB will need some time. Something NT doesn't have a whole lot of. Let's hope it clicks for him sooner than later. Seeing what Mac did with McNulty, I wouldn't be surprised if DW saw significant playing time...

    Pipe dream is pretty darn accurate, IMO. Look at what KSU accomplished last year compared to NT.
