You can go celebrate UGAs win. The D kept Gurly in check for most of the game and he didn't break any big runs when UGA needed him the most. Solid IMO.

The difference between the UNTs and UGAs of the world is equivalent to the gap between us & the 1%. Depth and talent level are on different ends of the spectrum. We have 1 Brelan at WR, they have 6-8 to choose from. We have 1 Will Wright, they have 6-8 to choose from with more ready to commit. NT needed to play an absolute perfect game and win all 3 phases to win this. Doable but not likely. Winning two of the three phases kept NT in it the 1st half. NT put up a helluva fight and looked like they belonged on the field. We haven't been able to say that for at least a decade. If you didn't see that, you weren't watching the same game the rest of us watched. I'm very happy with what I saw today and fully expect at least 6 wins.

Uh, he's a legitimate 1st round talent. Don't discount what our D did today.

I agree with Harry regarding team speed. This is one of the fastest NT teams I've witnessed. Team speed has increased across the board significantly. Not Georgia fast or even close to being one of the fastest mid major teams, but much improved in that aspect.

I'm definitely amending my original prediction of 5-7. This team will go 7-5 as long as Lil' Mac never plays significant time at QB due to a DT injury. Dallas Bowl would be freakin' sweet!! My buddies who are Baylor, OU, & UT alums would definitely all go, too! My shorts are going crazy thinking about bowl possibilities !

Love your points, definitely glass half full of green kool aid. Isn't there some ridiculous stat where the National Champion every year from the SEC played NT that year? We're the SEC's rabbits foot. I'm hoping some of our younger players see significant playing time this week. This takes some of the wear off the starters to help with conference play and possibly limit their time on the field, lowering a chance of injury. I'd love to beat UGA, but realistically, they're a legit NC contender. Lets be smart and come away with good experience playing in a packed hostile environment, a decent paycheck, and zero injuries.

I think he was being funny, not considering the UGA game a real game. Body bag, money game, whatever you want to call it. I hope Mac will let some of the backups see siginificant play next week and save the starters from additional phnishment for the real conference stretch.
