Southlake had a winning tradition before Teflon Todd and will continue to do so with its vast availability of resources . He gets too much credit for winning there and a deserved amount of flack here, IMO.

Because they're in Utah, which has one of the highest Samoan/Tongan populations in the US. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has to do with them being converted to LDS back in the day...

Who could blame him? The B12 is a more prestigious conference and TCU has a very recent history of winning. NT just won 2 in a row for the 1st time in years. Win consistently and we'll see less of this. I played at DeSoto high school myself! I wish the young man good luck!

Hiring him, period was a train wreck only a few of us saw coming . If I remember correctly, rumor was Dr. B forced RV to make a budget hire. Boy, did NT get exactly what they paid for if this rumor is indeed true. He tried to run the NT program like Southlake North, not considering the differing peoples he would encounter at a D1 public university. His life in the Southlake bubble exposed him here. Yet, he had his defenders to the bitter end. Hence, the nickname I'm glad to take credit for, Teflon Todd. Nothing bad would stick the guy for 2.5 years. Key players quit or transferred early, the NAACP fiasco, not hiring any coaches with college experience, Ron Mendoza's defense, no 2nd half adjustments ever. He stunk and should have never stepped foot on NTs campus.

Good teams beat bad teams convincingly. Which is something we haven't seen around here in a while. NT needs to go out and stomp a mudhole in USM. I do NOT want to see this team pull a Tulane and play down to a team that looks inferior in talent. I can't believe I just wrote that about a NT football team?? Is my NT head getting too big now??

Hit 7 and I think the Bowl is gauranteed. This team is capable, no doubt.

This team should have only one loss with the way Defensive unit is playing. Brings back memories of the great Big Booger days.
