OSU vs MSU OSU wins they play FSU in the BCS Title Game. MSU goes to the Rose Bowl as an At Large. MSU Wins they go to the Rose Bowl. OSU possibly a BCS AT Large.

Michigan. You want to play the biggest name team possible with a chance to get a win. UM's 2nd half of this season has been tough, losing 4 of their last 5 games with their lone win coming against #65 Northwestern. I wouldn't say they're down, but their losses were against some tough opponents: Nebraska #40, Iowa #30, MSU #10, & OSU #2. It would be a tough game no doubt, very close to Georgia tough. I think just hearing the words NT, Michigan, & Bowl Game all in the same sentence lifts perception 10 fold. More than any other post season matchup possibility. This team showed it can hang vs Georgia. It's an uphill battle, but NT has a punchers chance, IMO...

I want the HoD vs a B10 school really bad, but I would take the AF over any of the other Bowls if HoD skips NT.

A Rice win would pretty much guarantee NT a HOD invite. Plus, it would be a nice notch on the ol' belt, knowing NT beat the CUSA champ. I will be the biggest Rice fan this weekend!

Our O has to show up to this game for NT to have a chance. The D will come to play & ST has been rock solid since week 3. I hope Mac & Canales throw the kitchen sink at whoever the opponent is. Most importantly, I pray to little Baby Football Jesus that the DT from the 2nd half of Ball St. shows up for this one. Can't wait!! Big Blue vs Big Green in Big D!!! My bowl pants are going bezerk just thinking about this potential matchup!

You never had a neighborhood kid that loved to poke at the wasp nest ? I loved kids that did that, stirring up shit keeps us all on our toes.

Derek is not the most accurate or physically gifted QB on this roster. He's the best decision maker, thus the reason he's the starting QB. The QBs have to make the right reads on any given pass play. DT obviously does that better than any other QB wearing a NT uniform. Just to break it down a little, there's a correct throw on any given pass play based on what the defense is doing. It's not just limited to audibles and reading formations pre snap. I think a lot of the frustration with DT stems from his average/below average accuracy. He probably makes the correct "throw" most of the time, he just can't seem to hit his target consistently. This is why Lil Mac is #2 & BB a distant 3rd. It all comes down to making the correct throw and limiting mistakes/turnovers. With that said, the team is 8-4 and in a spot none of us could even imagine before the season started. Let's be happy ! Also, let's please stop these apologetic/soap box threads. We all know the popular opinions here on GMG, we just open a can of worms with every one of these threads....
