I think Harry nailed it one of his other threads when he said CUSA was scratching the MWC's back to get one of their teams into this Bowl. Anything to keep the relationship going between these 2 conferences is a major plus during these times of P5 rule. UNLV has name recognition. It may not scream Michigan or Iowa, but it's definitely better than what could've been.

I'm a MGC member & season ticket holder but dont want to get stuck smack dab in the middle because I'm bringing my 6yr old son. The others I'm potentially bringing may bring another young one as well. I'm considering buying through the HoD site just so I can get a guaranteed aisle seat for kiddie purposes. Anyone know what side we're on, yet? Can't wait for 1/1!!!!!!!

No impact on NT but will impact the opponent. If MSU or OSU are left out of a BCS bowl, the B10 can probably send a team to the HoD. Either way, it's highly unlikely now that NIU & Okie St. Both lost. I think an ACC team will be the opponent.

I've read a few times today MSU is getting a Rose Bowl invite, win-lose-or-draw. OSU losing might be enough to bump them out of a BCS AtLarge birth for an SEC team. I'm not saying Brett is wrong but that's what I've read on some B10 Chamoionship preview articles.
