I like these better than the stock green one. But I still think the HoD carbon fiber & metallic SOW are unbeatable.

Strong will be gone in 3 years. The influential UT boosters can't & won't show enough patience to allow this guy time to build it his way. If he's not playing for the title by year 3, he's out. Strong appears to be staring down the barrel already....

Some great points. I was part of a group that harshly criticized DD and thought his time had come, but looking back now, you can't deny he had a hand pointing this program in the right direction. I'll always remember those SBC bowl years. My NT athletics obsession started then. Gotta thank the Ol' Buick for that. I remember being the only student raising my hand in class when my Econ Prof asked who all was going to New Orleans. Fond memories...

I think what DD was able to accomplish here at NT deserves much praise. NT didn't reap the benefits, recruiting wise, after dominating the SBC for several years. When the program began fluttering into a downward ascent, RV threw gas on it, and then lit it on fire with the Dodge mistake. Bad football became ridiculously worse. The coaching staff experience fiasco, the NAACP fiasco, the record breaking blowouts, etc. etc. Dodge's tenure was the absolute worst, by a freaking long shot. But Teflon Todd was such a nice guy... DD had his issues but he definitely doesn't deserve to be compared to Dodge. Now we have Mac, thank god.

I've been a member of that site for almost a decade and Box (the quoted poster) has always been a big Mean Green supporter. Lots of good handicappers on MadJacks. I don't post much there anymore, but still skim the forums as it's a great site for game info and general opinion from experienced handicappers.

I'm thinking it could be another Georgia game for NT. Hopefully, we'll have enough playmakers on offense to get over that 2nd half hump most mid majors hit when playing the Power Programs.

Dodge came in an arrogant SOB not ready to deal with the differing peoples/personalities of a public university. He plowed an already plummeting program even further into an abyss. Why people want so bad to pat this guy on the back here is beyond me? His days at the University of North Texas were an absolute embarrassment. Good riddance.

I voted for him, not because I want that, just because he was the clear cut #2. I'm still pulling for Brock or DW.

I think Mac is very loyal and wants his QB to play mistake free football regardless of athletic ability. I'm still hanging on to the Brock or DDub bandwagon but my money is on McNulty.

He was a game changer for NT. I'm glad he was the center piece for the offensive gameplan at the HoD Bowl. I always felt Brelan could've gotten the ball more after every game. He'll be sorely missed...

Line wasn't that bad. When I walked up, a young woman next to me had a problem where they couldn't find her tickets. Luckily, mine were there and I was in & out in minutes. Funny thing is I saw an envelope with "Chris Fisher" sitting on the table. Wonder if it's the same Chris who posts here.

As was previously stated, the goal post was moving about as fast as me after thanksgiving dinner. It is unfortunate some people were injured, I definitely don't condone that. However, it's still funny as hell. :D

One of my favorite college football moments of all time is seeing Texas Tech fans ripping out their own goal posts and throwing it into the aTm fan section.

Old Scrappy is a gazillion times better than Eugene Levy Scrappy. Today I noticed Eugene Levy Scrappy's head looked disproportionately off on one side. Like they stored his head at the bottom of the equipment trunk and it was smashed out of shape. It had a Johnny Manziel, strawberry shape to it.

Congrats DT. He earned the MVP award today.

Screw 'em. They're just mad they lost and they don't get to do photoshops of Mack getting bucked off Bevo anymore.
