Good post, agree 100%. This isn't the same IU team that limped into Apogee a couple of years ago. These guys went into Columbia and beat a ranked Mizzou team a few weeks ago.

Brett hit on a couple points, but one I definitely agree with: the offense needs another playmaker to step up.

It's blatantly obvious the offense is more wide open with DW in there. He's definitely the playmaker we were all hoping to see at QB. The future is bright and the door is open for this young man. Let's hope he can stay healthy and lead this team for 4 years. Think of that for minute. How scary could he be after starting for 4 straight years?????

I was just thinking this same thing. We have no playmaker at LBer. i consistently saw our guys overrunning plays, in bad spots, & getting blocked. Now I know certain schemes & plays will call for a Lber to play certain gaps but the read/react time just seemed to put our LBers a step behind on every critical play (when the game was still in reach).

I'm still at 6 wins......

DLine didn't get much push today. The thing that really stuck out to me today was the underwhelming play from our LBers....

Defense is definitely not as good as last year. One thing I noticed today, our LB core lacks a playmaker....

The reality is there is a gap and it's just going to get bigger sooner than later...
