I don't think RV is even on the hot seat right now. Football & basketball would have to put in similar performances next year for him to see his job security come into question, IMO. Now, I'm not saying he shouldn't be on the hot seat. His handling of men's & women's basketball the last few years has been nothing short of embarrassing...

Not sure where the 3rd win comes from, but we've all seen CUSA flip flop the last couple of years where teh expected better teams struggle. Mac loves his seniors and is extremely loyal to them. That's why I think McNulty will probably start the entire year. DSmith would have to come in and just blow the socks off Dmac in the fall in order to jump McNutty. We can all expect a highly conservative offense that looks to eat clock, takes care of the ball, and lean on it's defense to get the win. In other words, exactly what we saw last year, and what we've seen since Mac has been here....

Top position battles MLB & QB. LBers last season always appeared to be a step slow to react and a step out of place. The offense was horrific last year and we all know it started with bad QB play.

I don't think so. The schedule "appears" to be tougher than last year. McCarney punched his ticket with RV after winning the HoD Bowl. It would take an 0-12 season filled with Teflon Todd like stupidity around the program (NAACP, quitting players, fighting with his DC, etc.) for RV to even sniff teh thought of canning Dan.

Very nice! My fandom started during the daffy eagle days when the North Texas spirit mark oddly had orange & blue in it. The only helmet there that really makes me cringe is the SLC wannabe from the Teflon Todd era.....

I've been staying away from schedule talk, but with the recruiting season wrapped up, an unknown at DC, and McNulty still hanging onto the QB spot, the 2015 schedule is looking very scary. Mac & his staff may have put in their finest coaching performance if this season ends in a .500 record...

Found a recipe for Cane's sauce to use with some Chicken Express I had last night. Not bad at all...

Never been to Hooyas. Always heard good things about them. Chipotle is decent. I will admit, their Barbacoa is pretty damn good.

My buddy raves about Rudy's. So much so that I can't believe I forgot about them. He said they're so good, he had them for breakfast, lunch, & dinner one day. Said the workers in there looked at him like he was crazy.
