I keep checking for Texas A&M's Jonathan Aku to show up in the portal. He's a 6-10 260lb F/C that played at iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy ln Lewisville. The former 4* recruit has been buried on the depth chart and only getting a handful of minutes each game. His coach, Buzz Williams, has now signed the higher rated and younger 7-0 Javonte Brown to play the same position.

I don't know of any database. This particular 11x14 photograph is in my own collection, and the negative had been disposed of decades ago by the photographer. The Daily may have archived photographs, but I seriously doubt they've put in that effort, or that they would have anyone that's even aware of what is significant to retain. Rick Yeatts Photography would probably be your best source for archived material but I don't know what year he started covering our teams.

At every one of those except the Kibbie game. I brought the bride to a watching party in Denton for that game when we secured our first SBC Championship and first bowl game since the 1959 Sun Bowl. Went home for a few hours, and then returned to Denton to greet the team busses as they arrived from the airport. I didn't make it to the game, but I have a great memento.
