We may know within hours/days if Graham is available to come home as our offensive coordinator. Lincoln Riley has already picked a new defensive coordinator.

The Frisco Bowl probably has a financial incentive to sell tickets this year since the game was cancelled last year due to Covid at SMU after the participating teams were announced. Air travel is still tedious. I would think North Texas would be the natural selection to sell out their facility. We, as fans, need to start doing everything possible to let the Frisco Bowl people know that we want to play in their game. https://thefriscobowl.com/ Fans can purchase tickets at www.thefriscobowl.com/tickets Frisco, TX – In its fifth year at Toyota Stadium, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl will showcase two teams from the following conferences: American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, Mid-American Conference, Mountain West Conference, or the Sun Belt Conference. This year’s game is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. CT. Ticket prices range from $25 in the Goal Line sections to $99 for the ESPN ZONE VIP Experience. ESPN ZONE VIP Experience ($99 per ticket) This includes a covered VIP seat for the bowl game in the Hall of Fame Club or South Terrace sections, exclusive access to the National Soccer Hall of Fame Club, the National Soccer Hall of Fame Experience, and a ticket to the ESPN Zone pre-game party with free food and beverage from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Midfield Tickets ($50 per ticket) Sideline Tickets ($40 per tickets) Goal Line Tickets ($25 per ticket) For group ticket orders above the maximum online limit of eight (8), or any questions, fans can call (469) 365-0027. I think Wren's position is that he evaluates every single one of his coaches after the end of their season. Has anyone known him to waver on this? I believe Wren is brilliant in his capacity as Athletic Director, and he certainly has more riding on this than any of us. I'll support Wren's conclusion 100% with whatever he decides.

Yeah, I think that Adler guy would just like to see Aune come back next year.
-
He doesn't need football, he's only in it for fun. He's married. he's graduated, he's financially set from six years with the Yankees, and he'll be a Daddy. He'll also be a national story when he scores next year as the oldest player to score in FBS. Quite simply, his story would be the stuff of legends. He'd be crazy to pass up that opportunity. He could, but he hasn't shown a lot of quit to this point.
-
Said on the post-game radio show that he plans to be back for next year. He has no real reason to risk injury, but his first score next season will make him the oldest player to ever score in FBS football. I think that's enough of an incentive even if he spends most of his time coaching and carrying a clipboard. He's a hell of a team player and I can't see him passing up these opportunities. He has the rest of his life for old people stuff.

ESPN's take on UNT ***ESPN's take, not mine*** Seth has a 23.3% chance of saving his job. They say he's gone if he loses, and UTSA is favored at 76.7% winning percentage. I personally believe that there is much more that factors into the equation. .

Rhett Lashlee to become next SMU Head Coach
ADLER replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Football
Well, the Lashlee led 2018 offense at SMU was able to garner several first downs against North Texas, all in the fourth quarter and when already losing by 34, but they did get a few first downs. -

What is his record against North Texas?

I think fans are exhausted of seasons of building, potential, just wait til next years. 1/5 of teams finish in the top 25 each season, and something like 40 win bowl games. Those figures haven't seemed to include us.

According to ESPN the North Texas/ UTSA game was somehow narrowly edged out by Ohio State/Michigan. Too bad. It would have been fun to watch Lee Corso put on the Scrappy head right up there on The Hilltop in Highland Park. (and yes, you're correct, there is a suburb in Dallas County named after it.)

I have nothing against their decisions in this meeting, and will even buy them their requested copies of Roberts Rules of Order, but somebody please, please, ask our SGA members to stop dressing like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

There are very few conference games, maybe the 2001 MTSU and NMSU games, the 2013 Rice game, and the 2018 La Tech game that have held the importance that the upcoming UTSA game holds. There may not be a conference championship on the line, we're already eliminated from that, but results of this week's UTSA game may indicate an instrumental moment for our program and it's future. There's a lot riding on this game for both schools.

Would you please inform the University of Florida that I would gladly not coach their football team for only $11 M.

With that being said, maybe they should rehire Steve Spurrier.
