  1. With liberals, it's all Sunshine, Unicorns, and Lollipops as long as we dislike the right people. .
  2. The Obamas do have a dog named Sunny but I'm not aware of its color, sex, or preferred pronouns,
  3. She fleeced the hell out of our country by having Biden buy the loyalty of the UAW under the name of the Green New Scam. US taxpayers are paying a fortune to the automakers for this electric car scam. It's a cash grab by the automakers and the UAW members but the only long term beneficiary is the People's Republic of China. Hard Pass.
  4. Well, if we can't get one of Obama's family members, can we maybe get one of Obama's neighbors, one of Obama's drinking buddies, or one of Obama's lawn attendants?
  5. Let's see. Biden is "confirmed" as having contracted covid and is in the early contagious stages", yet he is talking closely to people and he's not even wearing a N-19 mask? Air Force 1 bolted from Las Vegas to Wilmington in 3 hours 48 minutes and Biden was instantly whisked away to his beach house. Pool reporters aboard Air Force 1 said that the jet was being pushed so hard that it was shaking. This doesn't sound like a medical emergency, it sounds like a tantrum.
  6. This may be accurate and the covid is just an act. Biden had said a day ago in Las Vegas that he may quit the race only if he has health issues. Now it's revealed that Obama has requested that Biden step aside and Biden is conveniently secluded with family at home.
  7. Personal frustrations over really creepy public school policy in California have seemingly led Elon Musk to announce Tuesday that he is relocating the headquarters for two of the companies he owns, SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter), from California to Texas. On Tuesday, Musk posted on X that the SAFETY Act signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom was “the final straw,” causing him to move his SpaceX company to Texas. He later posted that X will also relocate its headquarters to Texas. “Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas,” he posted. Musk's automotive company, Tesla Motors, relocated its headquarters to Texas in 2021.
  8. Poor soul. Prayers to him and best wishes for a quick recovery. He's among the demographics that have an elevated risk of serious complications and this is his third bout. Hopefully he's well enough to remain in office for the duration of his term even if its just remaining as a figurehead.
  9. For those of you that actually like to learn and make informed statements J.D. Vance will be speaking tonight at the Republican National Convention.
  10. Doug Burgum didn't wind up being President Trump's choice. Trump's selection for Vice President wound up being JD Vance. I knew very little about Vance other than him being the junior Senator from Ohio and his 2022 election victory over Senator Ryan. Where the hell did this guy suddenly come from? Watch the following video to get insight into his unusual upbringing. It's an inspiring story that became a bestselling book and later a movie. Ron Howard later produced an Oscar nominated film starring Glenn Close and Amy Adams about JD's life. I can see how his humility would be a contrast to the often brash President Trump. Please keep it civil. What are your opinions of the young man?
  11. There are other schools with enormous influence that will neither want to be left in a watered down ACC and wouldd have little interest in the Big XII. I could still see Notre Dame, Stanford, Virginia, and North Carolina joining the BIG. It depends on who all the Big XII eventually accepts, but Cal and SMU may be better off joining Oregon St and Washington St in the MWC.
  12. You are obsessively portraying yourself as a silly little ball of hate. Maybe North Texas alum Dr Phil can help you. May I suggest that in the mean time you simply sit back, relax and enjoy an incredible, "perfect" video.
  13. Lighten up Francis. This has been a civil discussion and one of the only really active discussions currently on the board. We kid with each other with taunts and jabs but we try to refrain from insults and name calling, and threats, even if they are just implied, will almost certainly get you placed in timeout.
  14. Direct from our Congressional Record, here's an explanation of those criminal charges that you keep harping about. It will be nearly impossible for the record to not be cleared once the cases rise above the corrupt weaponized Soros/Garland controlled courts.
  15. Actually watch it this time. It was certainly one of the most prosperous times in the history of our country. The only things that people who hated our country could do is rip up their copy of the State of the Union address.
  16. I'm saying that he was clearly a person guided by the Trump derangement syndrome taught by extremely corrupt politicians and their willing stooges in the media. They constantly disparage a man that guided our country through one of its most prosperous periods in history. They often wrongfully refer to him as being "a threat to our democracy, the next Hitler, and a vengeful dictator." By the way, I didn't lump you with those people, you did.
  17. It looks like President Trump was grazed by small arms fire above his his right ear while speaking on stage at the rally. He pumped his fist while he was being pulled off the stage by the Secret Service. Follow-up: Two dead, the shooter and one person attending the rally.
  18. From 247: 247Sports ranks Smith the 51st-best high school center in the 2024 class. He's also ranked the 29th-best player in Texas. Smith helped guide Haltom to a 21-12 record last season, averaging 12.9 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Smith led the 6A level of Texas High School basketball in rebounding two straight years. He brought in 855 career rebounds, 353 in a single season, and 26 in one game. All are school records. Smith was named an 8-6A First Team All-District selection. As a senior, Smith shot 59 percent from the floor. He made 67 percent of his free throw tries on 130 attempts, and hit 10-of-30 three-point tries. Smith shot 62 percent on two-point attempts. Smith averaged 11.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game as a junior.
  19. Did somebody say Keegan? Whooo-Hooo!!!
  20. The Bride often selects North Teas collectibles as birthday or Christmas gifts. A pennant, probably from the inaugural January 1, 1948 Salad Bowl football game matching North Texas vs Nevada is one of this year's birthday gifts. It will pair well with the 1948 Salad Bowl football programs that she has gifted to me.
  21. Great find. Those extremely rare ceramic statues were cast in 1949 by Adah Art Studios of Dallas. (I only know of 4 remaining in existence) They were based on a cartoon of North Texas coach Odus Mitchell that Bill McClanahan had previously written for the Dallas Morning News. That statue was subsequently the basis for the rare 1960's plaster NTSU bobbleheads that were made in Japan. NTSU Bobblehead on ebay Here's the Bill McClanahan eagle used later in an NTSU decal.
  22. Interesting looking shirt. I wonder from which material it is made.
