NOAA weather forecast for Athens, GA It looks like it may be a rainy night in Georgia.

Celebrate the Halloween night game with a Rocky Horror theme, and bring back North Texas alum Meat Loaf (Michael Lee Aday) so that the university can award him a Lifetime Acheivement Award. Meat Loaf is one of the best selling artists of all time, having sold over 100 million albums, and I think this would have been a perfect opportunity for the university to honor him. It could be a halftime presentation of Hot Patootie - Bless My Soul, I Really Love That Rock And Roll with Meat Loaf, the Green Brigade, the Dance Team and other members of UNT's performing arts community.

With as much time as they've spent scouting the Desoto team I don't think there is any way that our recruiting staff is not familiar with his ability.

I disagree. He may have been distracted by our cheerleaders, he may have been watching the windmills, but he failed to even attempt to block on that reverse. That's not how the starting QB for either team performed. I can't give too many kudos to someone for just not fumbling or not tossing an interception. Thompson places himself at risk constantly for this team and McNulty appeared hesitant to even run in a DB's way.

Incase you missed the Bizarre ending late last night

The result? I bet that the end result is that the Wisconsin quarterback learns how to spike the ball in order to stop the clock. -
Heart of Dallas Iowa vs. North Texas THe Heart of Texas Bowl, January 1 in Dallas could be the perfect storm situation for North Texas. This could be a statement game for North Texas being able to bring outstanding fan support, probably exceding the crowds that the Louisiana Cajuns brought to their New Orleans Bowls.

UNT vs Ball State replay is on Fox SW right now
ADLER replied to ADLER's topic in Mean Green Football
It almost seems to be moving too fast. -
It's the 'no huddle' version of the replay.

I'd like to have them if they are just extras. My kids always have friends they'd like to bring as guests if anyone wants to make sure their extra tickets get used. You're a Shiner guy right?

Here are the Ohio Look-Alikes from the Louisville board, some of them are quite humorous: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=17&f=2759&t=11793318&p=1

He looked great, extremely poised, and I was impressed with the velocity of his throws.

He wowed everybody as he had an excellent season as a starter his sophomore year. Then his team tanked his junior year, inclufing some blowout losses to district rivals. http://www.jacksonsun.com/article/20130807/SPORTS/308070007/SUPER-SENIORS-Riverside-QB-Luke-Ward-will-pick-college-after-football-season-ends

This game could be used to entice football fans to get hooked on North Texas basketball as well. Maybe offer free general admission with football ticket? What if there was planned pre-basketball tailgating and 25 cent hot dogs at the game, would the students stay?

I'm with you on that JRock, I hope that in time Brock has the ability to be our version of GJ Kinne.

CBS SPORTS: UNT unveils special uniform for 100th
ADLER replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
There were actually different color shades used during the 'Flying Worm' era. You can see a comparison halfway down this page: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/91044-vintage-college-mascot-logos/page-5 -
I too love it. It's a four man competition at this point and somebody is going to have to bust his ass to lead this team. Who's ready? May the best quarterback win,

DL Xavier Washington 6-1, 238 4.85 Cedar Hill (offer)
ADLER replied to Harry's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Those are outstanding stats for a junior playing 5A ball, especially when you consider the tough level of competition he was playing against. He may not be extremely tall but he has certainly proven that he can dominate.
