Without trying to sound patronizing, that is exactly what I was saying. Those two schools insisted on CUSA adding regional rivals for them, and they demanded adds in Florida because they both heavily recruit there. CUSA has made all the concessions to appease them, but they are still going to bolt at the first opportunity.
-
Maybe, but CUSA keeps adding school after school, with 1AA or even non-existant football, to keep Marshall and ECU happy. They will never leave for another conference.

Absolute heartbreaker of a game for the ladies tonight. They played their hearts out against the #15 team in the nation, leading 1-0, only to have the evil hordes from the north score a tying goal in the last 34 seconds on a headed in corner kick.

Half Price Beer Night . They'll still make a profit My kids were also asking me about some Free Markers promotion that was supposed to have happened.

Ricky V joins GMG.com Barbershop Podcast #133 Tonight! 9PM

Can the pre-game and post-game radio shows be played over the loudspeaker systems at Apogee and outside in the tailgating areas? I think it would not only be an excellent way to entice tailgaters to hurry into the stadium, but it could also be an excellent source of propaganda to bolster the connection between the team and the fans. -

What have been the discussions concerning North Texas hosting the military academies in the Heart of Dallas Classic at the Cotton Bowl? I'd love to have occasional games at the Cotton Bowl, especially during the Texas State Fair, but I'd also not like to see the number of games at Apogee reduced Is there a chance that North Texas relocates home games in Denton against these schools to Dallas? -
What he said. Let's have some pride.

It's best if you arrive there around 6:30 if you are getting dinner. DENTON - The Dan McCarney Radio Show airs Monday night from 7-8 p.m. from Rudy's BBQ in Denton. The show can be heard on the Mean Green Radio Network, KHYI 95.3 FM, KNTU 88.1 FM or KGAF 1580 AM as George Dunham, Hank Dickenson and Steven Bartolotta visit with North Texas head coach Dan McCarney about Saturday's victory over SMU and this Thursday night's game against Louisiana Tech. Rudy's BBQ is located at 520 S. I-35E and food and drink specials will be offered beginning at 6:30 p.m. The show will air live every Monday night throughout the football season. Trivia questions and prizes will be part of the hour-long show along with a live microphone for fans to ask questions of Coach McCarney. -
Please, if possible, make the time to attend the Coach Dan McCarney Radio Show at Rudy's Diner at 6;45 Monday evening. Show the coaching staff, the team members, and even our fiercely loyal broadcasting crew your gratitude for the recent 43-6 stomping of the SMU Mustangs at Apogee stadium. The radio show broadcasting begins at 7:00 and can be listened on KNTU 88.1 or the KNTU web site. Coach McCarney and players will be present for on-air interviews. The victory over SMU will be discussed as well as a preview for this week's game Thursday night against one of our Conference USA rivals, the La Tech Bulldogs. Beer, soft drinks, and BBQ plates are available, and a barbecue buffet with drink is provided for $7.99 Rudy's Country Store and B-B-Q ( I-35 and Teasley Rd ) 520 South I-35 E, Denton, Texas 76205 (940) 484-7839

Any recruit would be crazy to make a commitment to SMU at this time. SMU has established that they do not honor the commitments made by their outgoing coaches. They waited until very late in the recruiting period to notify by form letter the recruits that had committed to Phil Bennett that a new coach would not be obligated to honor the university's scholarship offer. Players were suddenly left without anywhere to go as most other schools had pretty much already filled their scholarship allotments. SMU then allowed it's new coach, June Jones, to take away the atletic scholarships from another dozen students, all in good standing with the university, for no other reason than he wanted to bring in his own people. Now June Jones does not look too secure in his position at SMU, and it looks as though another group of student athletes that have made a commitment to that university may be disposed and treated like unwanted trash.

I think their loyalty to North Texas is well established.

NorthTexan95's right. Psychotic... but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

I think many of you are confused. The sororities had organized recruitment activities that were cancelled last week because so many members planned on being in Austin to support their team. Activities were rescheduled for this weekend, with a break sufficient to watch the SMU game, but not enough of a break to participate in much of the pregame festivities. So what? Some young ladies are going to miss most of the morning tailgating? Is that really worthy of the anti-greek rants? They're passionate about the university and they support it's athletic programs. I wish we had even more students like them, greek and non-greek.

Kickoff vs Baylor at 6:30 on FS1

I agree with your assessment.

That is worse than inept. North Texas would have been far better off not even playing a quarterback at all and snapping directly to the running backs.
