Endzone Structure: What Do You Call It?
Ibleedgreen replied to UNTLifer's topic in Mean Green Football
HKS Architects designed our stadium. My son is an architect who worked there at the time. I don't think RV had anything to do with the wing zone. The lead architect on the project and the rest of the staff felt that Apogee's "distinctive" look would be a real plus for the university, and I personally like it, too. -
How long will students put up with paying for nothing?
Ibleedgreen replied to UNT90's topic in Mean Green Football
RV hired Littrell, right? And what if Littrell and company are successful? Give it a chance. -

Good for him. I wish him the best. -
Jamario's production was amazing until he suffered the hamstring injury. Remember the Colorado game? Remember his freshman year?

MGB: Former UNT assistant lands new job

Canales was associate head coach, not assistant. -
Go Mean Green!!! Boomer Sooner!!

Twice Mike Canales has taken over a dejected team, infused them with energy and come out with wins (at least one so far this time). I think he should be given a shot because (a) it's the right thing to do, and (b) he's shown he can win.

Who Should Be The Next Head Coach @UNT
Ibleedgreen replied to Eagle-96's topic in Mean Green Football
Hire Chico. -
Ok, folks, this is serious. I don't care about a guy's waistline if he is a good coach. That said, my brother was on the faculty at KU and a member of the athletic board; and, although the exact reasons for Mangino's firing were not made public, I did hear from my brother that they were serious. I was told he had to go.

LaTech AD scheduled too ambitiously?
Ibleedgreen replied to 10Eagle10's topic in Mean Green Football
Texas Tech quit scheduling us after we beat them two out of three games in the 90's. -

Glad to see that other universities demonstrate extremely poor grammar in things they put out, too. -
See the CUSA facebook page. Scrappy is in the final four, but is running behind in the vote total.

I thought she was wrong about bonfire, so I checked my '68 Yucca. Sure enough, there is the picture of bonfire. -
Did you watch McNulty last night? He's no Kenny Washington or Mitch Maher, but he completed most of his passes, one for our third TD, and he looked better than DW had.

UNT president: Students won't suffer due to $75M scandal
Ibleedgreen replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
What was wrong with calling it the University of North Texas School of Law in Dallas? Why must it be the University of North Texas at Dallas School of Law? Infuriating.
