  1. YES...I am very proud of Riley and I appreciate what his family has done for UNT athletics. Only a jerk would take this moment to criticize his dad.
  2. It's on kwrd (The Word).
  3. Love it!
  4. What Emmitt said...YES!!
  5. What Emmitt said...YES!!!
  6. He's sold me with his enthusiasm and passion. Hire him as permanent HC.
  7. Do we even know if Canales LIKES Jim Leavitt? Just because two people have worked together....?
  8. How can Canales win with 15 starters injured??? He's probably a good coach, but I doubt that he's Oral Roberts.
  9. Remember Joe Hamilton? And yes...Billy Tubbs was a Blakeley assistant.
  10. You shouldn't insult George Dunham.
  11. Travis...Yes. I am hoping that the Dodge family will see it.
  12. Bump.
  13. It's been a really crazy week and I've not had a chance to post my thoughts until now. First and foremost, I want to thank Coach Dodge and his family for their dedication to our program. Our prospects for the year looked exciting after the Clemson game, and I really think he could have turned it around if our starters hadn't begun dropping like flies. There is no coach anywhere who could have turned us into a winning football program with the personnel we had left after losing 15 players. At UT or OU, possibly, because of their depth, but not at UNT. I admire Riley for the way he finished our third game, playing with a broken wrist until the buzzer sounded, and I sincerely hope he finishes his career with us, even though I wouldn't blame him if he left. Finally, I want to chastise the posters on this board who have been calling for Coach Dodge's head since last spring. He is a class act, and the program is better off (in terms of character building) than before he came. (Remember?) And in the final analysis, that is what really matters...building young men of character.
  14. Yep, that's us...Mean Green Eagles.
  15. Shorter was in the game.
  16. I left early because my companion wasn't feeling well...not because we are tired of the "Dodgeball crap fest." That's a cheap shot.
  17. Sending prayers to Josh's family and friends.
  18. Sincere prayer works. No one was seriously hurt and the guys played FAU well, in spite of everything!
  19. I'm on the train.
  20. Congratulations, Coach Dodge!! Congratulations, Mean Green!!
  21. In all seriousness... Dear God, Please watch over our guys so that no one else is seriously hurt and help the guys play well against FAU, in spite of everything. Amen.
  22. In all seriousness... Dear God, Please watch over our guys so that no one else is seriously hurt and help the guys play well against FAU, in spite of everything. Amen.
  23. He's not my adoped player, but Craig Robertson has been awesome this year.
  24. He's not talking about pregame and tailgating. The atmosphere INSIDE the stadium has improved incredibly, despite the fact we're not winning. The games are fun.
