  1. I wasn’t able to post a couple of additional post-JR day tweets because of Twitter’s most recent glitch a couple of days ago but looks like people are starting to already talk about April 15, so let’s keep it going here:
  2. To have season tickets at UT comparable to mine at UNT around the 30 yard line, I would pay $640 a seat plus a $2500 donation annually. So, more than our exclusive club seating. Now I admit this is a bit of an apples and oranges situation, but it is still top level college football and a relative bargain. No one should be upset about these new prices for premium seating. Overall, this should lead to a full club. I don't use my seats but might buy these now that I do not need to big seat license so my parents who often use my tickets can get out of the heat/rain. Now, I can see how someone could be upset after paying off an expensive seat license only have have the prices go up dramatically and the AD should try to address that issue with those customers. I think it depends on when you paid the license. A recent donor who is almost paid off or recently did so (as described above) has a strong gripe! If someone paid it 12 years ago, there is less discrepancy in the pricing over that long of a period. EDIT: I would also add that another apples to oranges comparison is discussing professional sports. Although the donation is required for many levels of seating at UNT, it is still a donation to a student scholarship fund. Even the original stadium fund was to contribute to the AD budget, probably as part of debt repayment on the stadium (no info, just educated guess). And all for our university and not some random billionaire or corporation.
  3. Maruio White DE/OLB Mansfield Summit
  4. I would guess we end up with four scholarship QB and a couple walk-ons.
  5. Ton of offers including our main rivals.
  6. Tall kid at 6’5” (far left above). Prior to UNT: Prepped at Flower Mound Marcus High for coach Kevin Atkinson … helped team to 8-3 record as a senior in 2021 … passed for 2,405 yards and 24 touchdowns with only two interceptions
  7. I was looking at train options from DC and Baltimore and it looks like there are only bus options. Google has you taking a metro or train from DC to New Carrollton and transferring to a bus. Similar options from Baltimore. Takes nearly two hours from DC. So if you don’t want to rent a car there are options, although not great ones. If your grandson has never been to the area, I would recommend staying in DC to see the sights and then just going to Annapolis for game day. It’s a very nice town but only a few hours needed to see it. I can recommend the Maryland State House, which briefly served as the US capital. If you are just popping in for the game, then staying in/around Annapolis would be fine and you can tour the Naval Academy as well.
  8. Seem to remember he was also arrested at some point as well?
  9. Way too late on this guy and likely zero chance.
  10. Thanks for letting us know.
  11. Trieb was ok when healthy. Sorry to hear about Crosby because he never met expectations and hoped he could turn it around this year. Wilson was a pretty good replacement so we should be fine.
