Three on scholarship at a position where we have sometimes had three on the field at the same time. Plus two of those three have shown zero to this point.

A couple of thoughts here. We have the same number of QBs on scholarship as WRs (5). We have 10 (11?) LBs on scholarship. Seems a ridiculously high number. Thin at TE. Hope those two freshmen come ready to get on the field. Same at DT where we have 5 scholarship players contending for what should be 5-6 spots. Come on freshman.

And here I am under constant threat of getting banned again....

Boykin also played through mistakes and was able to get reps and improve. How was Mac the only one that didn't realize that after 6 games we were pretty much headed to 4-8 regardless of qb?

Takes good angles to the ballcarrier and seems to really punish with his tackles. Seems strange that a DBs highlight film is so light on pass coverage clips though.

I totally agree with both of you. Mac doesn't bring in Smith at all if Mini had this locked down.

I have to think that signing JUCOs also hurts the ratings since these sites seem to focus on high school kids.

Totally agree with that approach but not signing Cain then doesn't make sense. Look at Smiths stats versus all out other signees.

I know some commented on the LB play last year, but was anyone else shocked by us going after three JUCO linebackers? The Dakota Smith signing seems especially odd. Billy, any thoughts?
