I don't get why folks insist on saying it is a 2 for 0 series. I get that it feels that way, but really it is just two separate body bag games in non-consecutive years.

Maybe to produce a more visible emotional response in order to show how much these scholarships meant to them and their parents, thus hopefully enticing viewers to donate?

For all that call for the firing of the AD, this is the most clear evidence that they just might be right. How do you sell fewer tickets in the wake of a successful season and bowl win? I mean, it almost seems impossible.

We have struggled against this type of player the last couple of years. Worrisome.

Pretty sure there are bonuses for conference championships and bowls. Maybe ending the year in the top 25? I doubt there is a clause for P5 victories. That would scream small time really.

Great post Kram. I would also like to add that DW had a pretty bad game against a B10 team and an an awful game against UAB as a freshman. You should expect that from a freshman. If you aren't prepared for that, why put him out there? (Hint: because your more experienced QBs aren't very good.) We ended up with basically the same record with Mini in there. I know I have said this, but they should have just bitten the bullet and let DW learn the game by doing. As it is, we are right back where we started last spring.

I prefer 3-9 with DW over 3-9 with mini. Just like many of us knew we were headed to somewhere between that and 5-7 last year with DW or Mini. Would rather had Williams gain more experience than watch mini to get the same result.
