  1. Welcome to the party (like its 1999).
  2. Come on Harry, he is gone. You don't have to kiss his butt anymore in hopes of getting an interview.
  3. Booger, if you lurk here on GMG, PM me and I will buy you season tickets.
  4. For 90: GFYWAGBD
  5. So the AD staff should have skipped the basketball game in favor of a later start?
  6. I am pretty sure that the sites give more points for state rankings for recruits. A lot easier to get bonus points in Tennessee or West Virginia. I am not trying to make excuses or say our guys are better right now, just something I perceive as a flaw in the system. I like Billy's idea of looking at offers. In that respect, we are still lagging way behind.
  7. Well according to MG sports Darius Turner is a 5'11" 200lb DT...
  8. Really enjoying the honest coach talk here. I still have to tell you to "get a room" or it would look like I was playing favorites
  9. Not in Denton. It's called my Spring 2015 in DC. It was fun.
  10. Harry, that video said "class of 2011" so I wonder if you have the same guy here.
  11. Just throwing this out there from Vito's blog on Moore: “They talked to me about blue shirting, but they had a defensive lineman who didn’t come in, so I will sign right away,” Moore said. - See more at: http://meangreenblog.dentonrc.com/2016/02/jameel-moore-confirms-he-has-flipped-to-unt.html/#sthash.zFxNZLdr.dpuf
  12. I like how they didn't even acknowledge that Wallace played two years at UNT.
  13. They were recreating the attendance at the last home game for the recruits.
  14. I did that for a couple of years here. It was in the blogs.
  15. Right because this is the first time recruiting services have made an error with UNT recruiting. You know, since they care so much and follow us so closely..
  16. The strength of UTD is in research and technology related fields. In those areas, most schools in the region are WAY behind UTD. But you would never choose UTD if you wanted to study arts or the humanities, or really social sciences as well. You also probably won't go there if you want a traditional college experience either. But if you want to study science and/or prep for med school, there is hardly a better choice. Plus their financial assistance for elite students is almost unrivaled around here. Full tuition, room and board, plus cash. One scholarship program they have includes all of that plus free study overseas for a year.
  17. Coaches announce verbals before signing day in your universe? Because they don't in ours.
  18. You do realize what a big deal JQ was on social media during the Olympics right? This generation knows him for smashing the door in Sochi.
  19. Have met and liked the man. Just surprised that a guy who was with two failed eras would be kept on. Didn't mean to imply Scotty was the stench himself.
  20. Why is this cause for celebration? Was director of fb operations under Dodge and Mac. Why retain that stench?
  21. Over 1600 three-star recruits and we only get 4 or 5 a year. Kind of tells you all you need to know about our program, right?
  22. Happy to give money and whatever I can do by email 7 time zones away, smartass. But this parade thing is such a no-brainer. The Alumni Association should really be the one coordinating, with an assist from the AD's office. Where do our alumni live? Well the HOD Bowl seemed to indicate Dallas? AMIRITE? Having a small float or double decker bus all "greened out" with alumni, a few coaches/players, and cheerleaders and/or dancers really would not be the most difficult or expensive thing to organize. Throw out beads, a few mini footballs with a schedule. The Alumni Association could even have a fundraiser to pay for it. Seems like if we can raise money for a banner in a few days (or several banners) then we could do so for a bus or something as well. So sure, if I lived in DFW (or even perhaps in the US or the North American continent) I would be happy to organize something. But I or anyone else should not have to. Here is the deal. The last time I went, I do remember thinking that I saw groups from several universities including ATM and OU. But my biggest takeaway was that I remember thinking "why all these other universities and not the one that is actually F'ing GREEN!" And then I remember thinking, "Typical." Which is probably what other alumni think too and why it keeps coming up.
