    I figured we would lose these three and beat the rest. I am not so confident any longer. Both UTSA and ECU are playing much better. Hell, ECU now has a better conference record than we do!

    It’s horrible. In addition to the injuries, our D gets bowled over by RBs and our OL can’t run block.

    Now they are running at will mostly. Defense is worn out and the offense has been pathetic - particularly the play calling. CM has not been sharp since early on. Need to step it up but losing hope. Might only get one more possession.

    Anyone else feel like this drive will break the defense. Our “high powered” offense held to a FG and the defense is exhausted. This series in the third quarter might determine the game.

    Terrible PI call. on the plus side, defense is showing some life and drawing a couple of holds because they are getting where they need to be.

    The second is the more important. The non-TD was 50/50. The inability for five 300 pound men to move smaller guys one damn inch is pathetic.

    Maybe he figured Army would score every drive anyway so that way the defense won’t be as tired? on a related note, even though I know how terrible this defense is, it still shocks me that we have already seen multiple plays where no one covered their QB - the best player on the team. 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Yes in this case it is prob quite useful to prepare for a totally different scheme. Or it would be if we had a real DC. So in our case it is mostly helpful because of all the injuries we have.

    Yes he did. It would be assisting to not acknowledge it. But notice he also said the result wasn’t satisfactory “the last couple of weeks.” It has been two years.

    That was not my takeaway from that coach speak answer. What I did takeaway was that he wasn’t considering a change during the season. He also said Caponi was doing a “fantastic” job.
