  1. Robbery and getting kicked off a Lane Kiffin team are some pretty strong warning signs.
  2. So we are taking fliers on low character guys now? Great.
  3. I would be very interested to know what happened last year.
  4. D is fair. C- grading on a curve (new conference).
  5. According to google maps there is a taqueria and Korean place next to the gas station a block away. Maybe one of them has beers? Tacos and beer or beef bulgogi and beer sound pretty good to me.
  6. Well this guy has the Iowa St 3-3-5 LB size we need but it sounds like we will play him as another undersized DE instead?
  7. I mean he is out of eligibility so we would likely get sanctioned by the NCAA. I would call that a bad move.
  8. And none of us wanted Rogers to leave and what was the winning percentage of teams we beat??
  9. I don’t know how many times I need to repeat that the famous million dollar NIL deal wasn’t OSU specific and he still had it at Texas. https://www.si.com/college/ohiostate/football/ohio-state-football-freshman-quarterback-quinn-ewers-reportedly-signs-endorsement-deal-worth-more-than-1-million-dollars He did get a pickup truck from a local dealership. Maybe he had to give that back?
  10. Yet he wasn’t. We need a FBS level starter.
  11. Did you notice the QB comparison in the scouting profile? Mason Fine.
  12. I don’t think that NIL was specific to OSU, as I recall it was a corporate deal. These top level athletes are taking ticky-tack collective money, they are getting millions from major corporations for their brand. I think Ewers has multiple deals like this: Quinn Ewers’ second NIL deal was with GTSM, an athlete autograph company. He signed this endorsement deal in 2021 while he was a part of the Ohio State University. As per Darren Rovell and Tom VanHaaren of ESPN, Quinn Ewers and GTSM reached an agreement for an endorsement deal for 3 years worth $1.4 million at that time. According to this endorsement deal, Quinn Ewers was able to sign autographs during his years as a college football player. This was a much more lucrative NIL deal for Quinn Ewers and it still allows him to sign autographs as a college football player.
  13. Nor has he been anywhere. This is a guy with like 50 career passing attempts in four years as a college QB. Not what we are looking for.
  14. Do you mean the Instagram post quoted above where he said “Let’s run it!” or did you mean on Twitter from the account that has “obvious parody account” that talked about sucking Florida tiddies?
  15. Another one off the board
  16. Replace someone who doesn’t have the experience for the job with someone who has never even been a coordinator? No. In a related note, I wouldn’t be opposed to him getting a promotion to co-OC.
  17. Recruited good talent at RB and out of Oklahoma. Despite multiple injuries, kept the RB room humming and highly-productive. Earned national recognition for his work. Represented the university well. Outstanding representative of our program. Why would we not reward one of our own with a top position group when others get paid more on staff with no results?
  18. No one complained about the black uniforms in the HoD bowl in 2014 because we won. Or the Stand game.
  19. Denton doesn’t have the hotel capacity would be one reason.
  20. Bio says 6’4” and 255lbs so the perfect linebacker size for this 3-3-5 system.
