    Maybe he figured Army would score every drive anyway so that way the defense won’t be as tired? on a related note, even though I know how terrible this defense is, it still shocks me that we have already seen multiple plays where no one covered their QB - the best player on the team. 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Yes in this case it is prob quite useful to prepare for a totally different scheme. Or it would be if we had a real DC. So in our case it is mostly helpful because of all the injuries we have.

    That was not my takeaway from that coach speak answer. What I did takeaway was that he wasn’t considering a change during the season. He also said Caponi was doing a “fantastic” job.

    Well, they only gave up one TD against our common opponents. That’s not just a time of possession result. We gave up 37 to FAU.

    I think McCasland was only at ArkSt for a year, so they got him from the lower ranks the year we should have fired Benford. So technically, he was available.
