Looks like he has decided to bring the Arkansas TE coach over to be his OC. There was already a lot of "meh" from the UTSA fan base on the Traylor hire. Bringing in a guy who has also never even been a coordinator before isn't going make them any happier.

Surprising. We were told by some on this board he was "just another player", and "easily replaceable". 🙄

Man, Mike Leach. I have know @Harry for a long time, he is a great friend of mine, but I would throw Harry into the mouth of an active volcano to get Mike Leach here. And I suspect he feels the same as me.

Yes. Exactly. #olddenton doesn't do this. If none of this change happened, and people decided to not give/buy tickets next year, I wouldn't have blamed them. However, the program just did something huge to say we belong among the top G5, and I think we should all help them succeed.

You saw it all year. The OC's job is much more than calling plays on Saturday. The scheme, and day to day implementation of it, the tailoring it of for each opponent, etc is much more work than calling plays one day a week. Yes, there have been reports that after the UH game SL took over play calling, but all the other OC work was still carried out by Reeder.

There is a difference between being the OC and being the play caller on game day. This year's offense was much worse than the previous two years, but I think the root of that was recruiting.

THIS SITUATION IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I DEMAND SOMEONE BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE, just not me... You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. I am not saying take the money and stuff the cash in and envelope and hand it to SL. There are a lot of things that can be fixed with more money. If you are tapped out, you are tapped out, thanks for giving. If you can give $20 or $50 more bucks to help out the program, and you aren't doing it....? Is athletic success important to you or not. If it's not, don't give no, judgement from me. Just don't jump up and down and demand excellence. Some of the loudest voices of complaint on here are the ones who don't have season tickets, don't give to the MGSF, and still yell about results all day. It's maddening.

A lot of people demand accountability from everyone except themselves.
