i'm listening to the game on kntu 88.1 live stream since i don't have anything else here in santa fe. what an up and down 1st half. dang turnover and smu td at the end there. but, i'm ever hopeful for a comeback in the 2nd hafl.

Sure wish I could be at the game but we just moved to Santa Fe, NM over the summer and won't be able to get back to Dallas yet. The move also explains part of my absence from the board for so long - not that many of you even know me or remember me. But just because we live in Lobos and Aggie land doesn't mean I'm not driving my mean green cooper pride around - the only sad part is I will now have to put ugly yellow tags on my car since NT plates are unavailable here. Just know I will be at the game in spirit!!!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!

there is a trailer for the tug. we donated that as well. it can haul the model A or the bell. we understand about the trailer issue and we did look into that as an option as well. i think the main reason they chose the tug was safety and ease of driving it around without needed yet another vehicle that may or may not be available. We wanted to make it as easy as possible to get the bell to at least our home games without someone saying "we don't have any way of moving it." Now the only excuses can be lost keys, won't start or no one shows up to drive it. But, good point about transportation and again, that's why we donated a trailor that you can drive it onto.

we renewed our season tix and MGC donation. we don't even think about it. it's always a done deal every year (win or lose) but this year we are hoping for 2 more tix for a total of 4 season tix. also, we continue donating to the capital campaign and our goal this year is to make every single women's basketball home game. they play hard and deserve just as much attention. i noticed this year (don't know why i never paid attention to this before) that women bb season tix price is like $50 for the entire season vs. $200 or $300 for the men (or something close to that). I want to see that change. Finally, my husband has been an important player in helping to restore the cannon and was responsible for the bell-tug (that big green thing with a bell on it parked in the corner of the stadium that no one can see because the university won't let it on the track). And, of course, I promote Mean Green spirit everywhere I drive my mean green cooper w/the green TX flag on the roof

I'm going to Germany in the fall. Will keep my eye out too.

While I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and have lived here all but 4 years of my life, I graduated from Irvine High in Irvine, CA in 1986. My husband graduated from San Angelo Central High in 1984.

Same goes for us over here. Besides, with as much Mean Green decor as we have in our house and the fact I have a mean green car (see avi) I could and would never consider not buying tickets. just waiting 4 the package to arrive. and for those who say my car last season and noticed the flag missing, well.. the flag is back!! long story about that regarding defects and the company but at least i have it back.

i wondered what had happened. When Keith came home all he said was there was lots of booing and chanting and it got louder and louder then there was an announcement that said that wasn't booing of the teams but booing because firefightnrick had just been thrown out of the game! But, keith wasn't feeling well and left before he could find out anything else so thanks for the explanation. i'm glad no one was hurt during the incident. and yes, rick, you do have a lot of support. and you shouldn't be surprised.

wasn't able to make the game tonight but my husband was there (unfortunately, he had to leave at halftime) but he said the announcers mentioned FFR was thrown out of the game??? what happened???!!!!

this isn't just weird but sad. how about the year it was so dry there was a burn ban and they couldn't lite a bonfire so they used christmas lights instead!!!
