  2. Don't get Plummer started. There's not enough bandwidth to deal with his reply.
  3. Man, we're like the Keystone Cops. TEXAS!!!
  4. That is not meant to be taken as gay.(Not that there is anything wrong with that)
  5. I'M WITH YOU!!!
  6. I think it sounds great. I was taken aback when the Memphis fans did the T-I-G-E-R-S TIGERS chant in new Orleans.
  7. If any students see this thread they are gonna be really disapointed when they find out you're talking about brisket instead of something else
  8. There has been alot of talk about "stealing" certain tradtions. What can we, as the fans, do to help start a new tradition?
  9. I wish you would quit beating around the bush and tell us what you really think.
  10. North Texas 27 Tulsa 21
  11. I could not care less what a bunch of Tulsa fans think about the tortillas. If they don't like it, they will just have to shut us out tomorrow. And that aint gonna happen.

  15. Become Mean Green fans while you still can. Come to the dark side of THE EVIL EMPIRE OF THE SUN BELT!!!!! http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Nebula/4871/wav/empire2a.wav
  16. We were 9-3 with losses to OU, Air Force, and Arkansas and a blow out win over Baylor. You need around 175-200 points to be ranked at 25. You get 25 points for a first place vote down to 1 point for a 25th place vote. Do you think 175-200 people are gonna vote us as 25th place? Neither do I.
  17. We all thought we were gonna whip FAU last season and we came in and played awful. This game is non-conference and we don't win to many of those. Tulsa has a great passing game and a quarterback that doesn't make mistakes. Their TE is a world beater and I think our defense is gonna have a tough time. Hopefully a big crowd will pump the team up for a big win.
  18. IF we went 11-1 with a win in the bowl game, we still wouldn't be ranked in the top 25. We would get votes but not enough to be ranked. We play in the worst conference in the country and our strength of schedule is a joke because of it.

  20. http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle...CRIBER_CONTENT= The Vanderlaan-Newland Real Estate Challenge Courtesy: University of North Texas Release: 09/14/2005 Vanderlaan-Newland Real Estate will be tracking the cumulative rushing yardage for Mean Green running backs Patrick Cobbs and Jamario Thomas during the 2005 football campaign. As part of the "Real Estate Challenge", Vanderlann-Newland will contribute $5 per yard gained by Cobbs and Thomas to the Mean Green Club's athletic scholarship fund. How much "real estate" can the Mean Green backfield combine for? So far, the number stands at 161 yards after one game. That's good for $805 that will go directly to the Mean Green Club.
