He invented the chimichanga. He can tame wild gorillas with a mailbox flag. It was the sight of Jamario's naked body that drove Brian Wilson insane. He orchestrated the merger between Unicef and Smith & Wessen. All the 'Yes' album covers are Thomas family photos.

His poop is used as currency in Argentina. He framed Roger Rabbit. He hosted the Grammys and gave every award to Corey Hart. He sweats Gatorade He sleeps eight hours a night! ........ well, he's pretty normal when it comes to that.

You know you are a Mean Green fan if ............. A Cubs fan expresses sympathy regarding the plight of being a Mean Green fan. You make big ticket purchase decisions based on the fact that you can "get it in green". Your house is on fire and you grab your 80's era stained glass Eagle plaque and NT Mini helmet but forget your wallet, shoes, and wife. -
Keep your pockets full??? Give you plenty of money???

I doubt he will tire out. Figure 3-4 kickoffs per game the way our offense scores. 7-8 punts per game. 2-3 extra points/field goal attempts per game.

Sam Williams: Was the #10 dual threat QB in the nation according to Rivals but MUTS moved him to WR. He red-sirted in 2002 and played in a few games in 2003. He left the program after the Missouri game that year. BUST Jeff Littlejohn: SunBelt defensive MVP in 2005. He was a stud and may play on Sundays at 6'2" 318 lbs. Chris Anderson: was a grade casualty and placed at JUCO in 2004 in which he did not play football. He redshirted in 2005. He should get a look this year.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...s.62d7c4ef.html •Dallas ISD’s six 5A schools were the only ones placed in District 11. It was one of five six-team districts in 5A, which will qualify four teams for the football playoffs next season. •Rockwall was grouped with the seven Garland schools to form District 10-5A. That means Rockwall no longer has to travel to Tyler and Longview for district games. That now falls on three Mesquite schools. •The three Plano schools and Allen are moving back to Region II after a two-year stay in Region I. They will join Wylie, who moved up from 4A, Lake Highlands, Richardson and Richardson Berkner in District 9-5A. •Fort Worth has 11 schools in 4A -- and they all will be together to form an 11-team district. That means all 10 of the schools’ regular-season football games will be district games. •Celina is moving back to 3A after a two-year stay in 2A. It will be in District 9 along with Pilot Point and Frisco Wakeland, one of two new high schools in Frisco ISD. •Declining enrollments in 3A necessitated the creation of five four-team districts - three in Region I and two in Region IV. Charles Breithaupt, executive director of the UIL, said the move was done in part to minimize travel concerns in those areas.

And did absolutely nothing of any value for us on the field.

I wouldn't really say blows past. Remember that Muts has beaten us in recruiting and had "sexy" classes for the past five years. Conference titles: NT 4 MUTS 0

I am not talking about scrapping the entire playbook and going west coast. I am calling for something more original in the passing game then the quick out and the straight go and heave it. I would be happy if we passed the same amount of times as the last few years as long as we mix it up a little. All it takes is a few tweaks. As far as personel is concerned. We have what it takes. We just aren't using them.
-
If you break down the per game stat, it comes to: 2002 - 16 passes per game 2003 - 17 passes per game 2004 - 19 passes per game 2005 - 25 passes per game From 2002-2004 it is a paltry increase of 1 or 2 passes per game. It's not too surprising when you consider that in 2005 we were in games that we had to pass to try and catch up(Troy, LSU, FAU, LaMo, and ASU). We were on track for 21 passes per game until the final 3 games we passed for 35, 38, and 38 respectively. That's 167 passes in the first 8 games and 111 in the last three. Against Troy we had 10 passes on the last series because the continued running wasn't working. DD did not open the offense up.

There are three things that can cause that kind of pain in the chest. Heart, hernia, and gall bladder. I am glad that it is not the heart or anything else life threatining at this point. Continued prayers for DD and for his doctors to determine the exact cause. If some kind of surgery(and that is obviously speculation right now) is necesarry immediately, who will lead Spring Practice in a couple of weeks?
-
It's very tough to grade a bunch of guys who have yet to take a snap at D1A but I will go with a C+ as well since we have a few guys that can step in and get significant playing time next year and some freshman that could play early at need positions. The grade could improve depending on what we do with the remainin 2-3 ships that are in our back pocket.
-
Wilson will immediately be in the mix with Meager and Phillips at QB. Stanley will probably start at Center or guard. Loren will be in the mix at CB and hopefully be a starter Carlson should get significant time at TE in running situations. Drake, Santiago, Patton, Hemeng, and Sykes are true freshman that could contribute.
-
I'm shocked that you 2 would engage in such activities. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
-
(Eagle-96, using his own computer while loafing at work) I think you are right that players get filled full of hype that they will contribute early and have every opportunity to "win the job". I also think that Coffman's family probably had enough money to pay for his education and they didn't need the scholarship next year. Then there are the kids that get a greyshirt offer from a 1-A school that have to say no and play in 1-AA because that is the only way they can go to college.
-
I would assume we are keeping them for players that got left out of the mix when other schools overcommitted. Alot of BCS schools have 30 or more players verbal and then pick from the best. Some players will get left out and we could go after them. Also, if Godbolt is placed at a JUCO and Tanner signs here, that would give us 19 ships given out.
-
From previous verbals we have: JUCOS(4) Woody Wilson - QB Roy Loren - DB Trent Stanley - OL Brian Carlson - TE High School(14 ) Tim Patton - DT Robbie Gordon - DB Nick Foster - OL Bryant Seidle - TE Kelvin Drake - OL Chris Neal - DB Craig Robertson - LB Kendrick Ridge - DT Matt Menard - DT Esteban Santiago - DT Sam Owusu-Hemeng - DE Kail Kider - DE Draylon Ross - DE Marquis Sykes - DE That makes 18 players. Papers are reporting an expected 20. Who are the other 2?

In the upper right hand portion of the screen under" Mean Green Premium" it has 2 boxes. one for email address and one for password and then a login box.

Prayers to DD and family for a quick recovery.

I picked other, as in Trent Stanley. He will, in all likelyhood, step right in and start at guard.
