WHAT TIME IS IT?

Game week is finally here so here goes: We are installing a new offense and defense and will be going up against a top 10 opponent in their house. I hope we can hang but I just don't see us as having much of a chance against the Sooners. One thing for sure is that Dodge will not be playing for a paycheck. He will give the Sooners everything he has and he will have the boys mentally prepared for war. Gone are the days of the "Aw shucks, we're just happy they allowed us on the same field". I think Dodge will go into Norman with every intention of winning. I just don't think we match up talent wise and a close early game will open up. OU 48 NT 7 GMG!!! Beat ou!!!

http://www.star-telegram.com/629/story/211403.html Where to Study The hangout: Recycled Books, Records, CDs, 200 N. Locust St., Denton. 972-420-7574, www.recycledbooks.com The hours: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. seven days a week. The cost: Free to browse; books are reasonably priced. The buzz: OK, this isn't the best place to bring a bag full of books and U.S. History to 1877 notes, but there are treasure troves of information crammed into every nook and cranny of Recycled Books. Your professor only tests on his lectures and you can't read your own handwriting? No problem; just stop by Recycled Books and buy your professor's out-of-print source material. The shop also has a large staff that can help you find that first-edition treatise on evolutionary biology you need to make an A. Best time to go: The shop gets busier as the day goes on. Late afternoon is when most customers stop by. Good to know: If you're just looking to browse, the shop also has a large collection of CDs and vinyl LPs. Recycled Books buys back books and music. Where to eat The hangout: Mr. Chopsticks, 1633 Scripture St., Denton. 940-382-5437, www.mrchopsticks.com The hours: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday The cost: Plates cost about $6-$7. The buzz: Denton has plenty of great places to eat, but when it comes to freshness, Mr. Chopsticks puts 'em all to shame. Mr. Chopsticks isn't popular because of the upscale decor or urban feel. It's all about taste and value. Plates come loaded with fresh food for a price that every college student can love. And while fresh vegetables are a large part of what makes the 22-year-old Denton favorite so good, what puts Mr. Chopsticks on top are the homemade sauces, which can bought in the store. Best time to go: Mr. Chopsticks is a great dinner spot. Feeling hungry? Head to Mr. Chopsticks from 5 to 6 p.m. Good to know: If you're looking for something different, try the green onion pancakes with curry potato dip or chutney. Where to Meet The hangout: Hailey's, 122 W. Mulberry St., Denton. 940-323-1160, www.haileysclub.com The hours: Doors open at 9 p.m. Showtimes vary. The cost: Cover charge depends on the act. The buzz: What has always set Denton apart from the rest of the Metroplex is the music scene, and Hailey's is just about the coolest place around for local, underground, indie and weird. Indie titans like Ben Kweller, the Hold Steady and Pinback forgo stops in Dallas and Fort Worth to play the little club on Mulberry, while the rest of the week is filled with local favorites such as electronic wizards Tree Wave and rockers like Mescalero. One thing's for sure: This ain't the Smirnoff Centre - it's an old-fashioned college-rock club, complete with sweat and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Best time to go: The more notable acts - like Pinback and Architecture in Helsinki - are fun, but nothing beats seeing smaller local acts before they get big. Good to know: Some bands are bigger than others. Be prepared to wait in line.

Wagner's "The Ride of the Valkyries" as played in Apocalypse Now would be a great intro to go along with our new passing attack. Death From Above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLRj5erjhP8...ted&search=

The Big Lebowski: Are you employed, sir? The Dude: Employed? The Big Lebowski: You don't go out looking for a job dressed like that? On a weekday? The Dude: Is this a... what day is this? The Big Lebowski: Well, I do work sir, so if you don't mind... The Dude: I do mind, the Dude minds. This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man. -
I would hope players can't talk to reporters until after practice. It's a novel idea that Todge is bringing in here to ask that players actually concentrate and pay attention during practice instead of being distracted by reporters.

Q: What does the TGIF on a Sooners shoes stand for? A: Toes Go In First
-
What is your night job?
-
Are you afraid to tell us your real occupation? BTW: If you really are a garbage man then I have no problem with that and wouldn't think of making fun. As a friend of mine once said, "There is honor in all work".
-
Discussion of players abilities is fine and well and everyone has their own personal opinions but when you attack a poster's profession and intelligence you are going too far. What do you do for a living Dodge?
-
Low blow Dodge, low blow. Totally uncalled for. Rick has alot more friends and respect on this board then you do. BTW: Rick has been here for years supporting this team through good and bad and he will be here long after you're gone.
-
Think about it guys and gals. We actually have an offense that opposing teams would want info about. Talk about the difference a year makes.
-
Chase Corley has been named the starter. He will probably share time with Cullen Mills and Josh Gulley, but Corley will see the lions share of snaps in the fall.
-
We get it, ok. You like Meager. We all understand that. You don't have to keep pounding it into our heads. When Dodge names the starter, I will support him 100%. BTW: If it wasn't personal towards Emmitt than you wouldn't have to use the phrase, "Nothing personal Emmitt".
-
Would you guys please hurry up? I'm breaking like 30 major laws here.

In college ball you usually see color(Green) for home and white for away.

They all repackaged themselves by moving from 1-AA to 1A. No magic there.
