I've only been following the Mean Green since 1996 and I have had my balls punted, crushed, pulverized, sauteed, shish kabobed, run over by a top fuel dragster, used as a speedbag by Mike Tyson, caught in a bear trap, shelacked by Homer Formby, electrocuted by a manta ray, shot out of a slingshot against a wall of nails by Eve Plumb, stomped on by Seve Ballesteros after shooting an 86, placed in a vice, punted again, pounded on an anvil, burned, and scissor kicked by Ruud Van Nistelroy. I can't imagine how some of the oldtimers feel. There are only 4 things TD can use with Shaovd at this point: 1. You will be an immediate starter at NT. 2. There were 2 breakdowns by WKU on the play: 1. If you notice the tight end on the left(the one who is so wide open), never even chips Warren before he releases into the end zone. He needs to wait 1-2 seconds before he releases the block and by that time the H-back is in position to provide support on Warren. 2. The H-back that goes into motion right and then back left did a good job of tipping off our man coverage but didn't get back left in time to provide the support block on Warren. I think the H-back was expecting his tight end to chip Warren.

Thanks Flyer and all the people that had a hand in this. It is students like you that can and will make this university a force to be reckoned with. I have been following the Mean Green since my first semester 15 seasons ago. I can remember hearing about a new stadium "right around the corner" from day one, and now it is really coming to fruition. I can hardly beleive it is true. I am happy for myself but I am truly truly happy that people such as GrayEagle, GreenGrenade, SilverEagle, Oldtimer, Plumm, FFR, SUE, Emmitt, Harry, Cerebus, etc... are finally seeing their Mean Green dreams come true. Some of these guys have been around longer than most of us have been alive. We have all suffered the snickers, the stares, the ridicule all for being fans of the Mean Green. All of the suffering will make it all the more sweet to walk up the tunnel and to our seats at the new stadium. I think you will see alot of tears, alot of handshakes, and alot of smiles that day. Is it really true?

The proposal will either PASS or FAIL: 1. If it is FAIL, let's not attack the NO voters and resort to name calling and mudslinging. 2. If it is PASS, let's not rub it in their faces. Let's show some class and rise above any pettiness. We are better than that. What we need to do is get down to the business of building this stadium.

Whether this vote passes or not, I want to take this opportunity to say thanks to UNTflyer and all of the SGA that had the foresight to put this up for the vote. Thanks for the Facebook sight and all of your tireless effots to further our great university. It is students like you that will make North Texas stronger for EVERBODY'S future. You have my gratitude. Flyer, Please pass this along to all of your friends and colleagues that had a hand in this.

2 Scenarios: 1. The news is bad and the AD, Prez, Flyer, etc... don't want to be the bearers of such terrible news. I can't say as if I would blame Flyer either. 2. The SGA advisor is being extremely tight lipped because he/she wants the voting results to come out exactly 24 hours after the end of voting. They may be aware of the AD and UNTFlyers association with this board and are purposely keeping results under wraps so that nobody knows the results early. Remember, if we have the record turnout of roughly 10% then we need about 1600 votes to secure the passage. I think that is feasible.

It's amazing that there are so many people on the board and nobody is posting. We're just a bunch of pirranhas waiting quietly for the baby bird to fall out of the tree so we can devour it.
