Technically he is still under contract to UNC as their season is still underway. Can Littrell legally sign with UNT before he is released from UNC? Or are we dealing with an honor system handshake deal with us.

It's valid because it comes from the perspective of someone who has been through the recruiting process as an athlete. Perception from the point of view of the athletes that we hope to recruit is very important. How is it misleading? I trust Matt's opinion regarding a recruits thought process.

Wow it's amazing how quickly some people forget our past. We could use 5 more Matts in the trenches right now. Guys these are valid concerns from someone who has been through the process and knows a thing or two about being recruited. I think the Littrell will be a great hire and his offensive prowess will speak for itself with recruits.

Serious question. Yours is quite possibly the greatest signature pic of all time. Will you retire it now that his eligibility is up or leave it there as a reminder of the dark dark days we have endured.

Yes. 17 kick returns for a 19.4 yard average was not bad for a true freshman. I thought he had potential back there and so did coach Perry.

Speaking of Cal. Jeff Tedford(Cal head coach from 2002-2012) informed the BC Lions that he is resigning to get back into college coaching. Yet another name to consider with all of the job openings.

Sorry to see him go. He provided an early spark on special teams.

I remember the 2003 New Orleans Bowl. It was the first vacation for me and my wife while we were dating. It was a couple of days before the game and we stumbled into a bar in the French Quarter(I forget which one). We are sitting there drinking and I glance over to some guy sitting alone drinking at a table. It was DD himself and let's just say he was "enjoying" his evening. I told my wife I wanted to see if I could get a picture with him. I walked over and asked DD for a picture. He looked up at me, stood up and said "Bull$hit". He took the camera from my wife, handed it to me and put his arm around her for a picture. I took the picture and then he then took the camera from me and handed the camera to my wife for a picture with me. We then all looked at each other and burst out with rather loud laughter even for a bar. It was a great moment that I'll never forget.

Hopefully a majority of the students bastardizing the fight song now will realize one day in the future that it is/was disrespectful to their alma mater. That said, I know I wasn't the most respectful person regarding many things when I was in college either. In short, don't say anything in public that you wouldn't say in front of your kids or your grandma. Unless this is your grandma:

Good for Coach Dickey. It didn't end well here but hopefully he has learned from the past. It will be interesting to see what offense they run with him totally in charge.

I think Jinks would be a boost to them with his San Antonio connections. I know nUTSAck is our rival but I would rather watch 2 very good teams square off than the tickle fight we saw this year.

Seth can speak exclusively in Norwegian while wearing assless chaps and pasties to all of his press conferences if he wins CUSA championships and gets us in the top 25.
