  1. I believe the Dead Period ends at midnight tonight according to the NCAA calendar: http://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/Bowl%20Subdivision%20Football.pdf
  2. I'm not sure we're having the same conversation. You said; " Come on man, we're talking about the defensive line coaching job" I assumed that this meant to you that it wasn't very important. If that was not your intent, cool, my bad. I have plenty of confidence in Littrell. When have I ever said that I don't.
  3. I think the easiest way to look at it is: If these three had been the finalists for the UNT head coaching job how would we have felt. I know I would have been pissed and thought "same old UNT thinking small-time". If these are the finalist then RowdyTalk might just implode.
  4. I think you are missing the point. I never said he was a God to the program. I think a big issue is that this has left us without a DL coach at a time when the candidate pool is less then it would have been if Littrell had chosen one in mid December. There may be DL coaches that Littrell would have asked a month ago that now have jobs. If you don't think that ALL of the assistant coaching positions are important then I can't help you. But hey, eff it, let's just pick a random name out of a hat it's just a DLine coach.
  5. I think the issue is that there are fewer DL coaches out there to choose from then there were a month ago.
  6. This is the best case scenario for UNT recruiting. Baliff is as lame a duck as it gets. Every G5 in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas will use that against Rice to the fullest extent. AND nUTSAck has missed out on probably their best candidate thus delaying their recruiting as well.
  7. Oh we got F'ed alright. Particularly by Mac and Cosh.
  8. How did we not get an F-? The Portland State game alone necessitates an F-.
  9. Interesting. I wonder if Littrell saw something in film that made him reach out to Bradley to convince him to stay. Maybe Bradley tested the waters and found he didn't have any good takers and asked to come back. Another possibility is that Ekeler wants to move him back to safety.
  10. This should be his 2nd ring as the Crimson Tide won the NC in 2012 which was Morris' redshirt freshman year right?
  11. The longer it takes, the better for us. Every day they don't have a staff recruiting harms them more and more. Having Baliff in the mix is also harming Rice as well. Bad news for nUTSAck and Rice is good news for UNT on the recruiting trail.
  12. Then after his agent said NO not UT. UTSA.
  13. Welp, they may get what they wish for. Kind of like Cowboy fans clamoring for Romo to be gone. Well, they just got a taste of what that will be like. Be careful what you wish for.
  14. What a tough tough position to be in as a young man. Wouldn't wish those trials and tribulations on anyone. It takes a special person(and team) to stand up to that type of tyranny. I am proud he is associated with UNT.
  15. OK, maybe better words would be: Trailblazer Inspiration Role model Courageous
  16. If you buy the finest cuts of rabbit available but then decide to cook it on a 700 degree grill for 45 minutes you get charcoal. If you buy the finest cut of rabbit and cook it at the perfect temperature for the right amount of time but decide to add 30 ghost peppers and fresh turds then you get Spicy Rabbit with Turd sauce. All three aspects are important.
  17. TCU better than UNT?
